After the rest have left, Catherine Stark and a half dozen others knock on Arania's door. "Arania...we're going for a ride to Paramount Rock! Do you wanna come?"

Arania opened the door herself to the clamor of female voices outside. "Riding? I suppose." She had hardly been on horseback before, but this would certainly take her mind off things. "Let me put on something more suitable, and I'll go."

"Well, hurry up!" Some tittering from behind the door.

Arania did hurry up, and emerged in a plain wool dress and furs, well-bundled for warmth. Her hair was braided back to keep it from her eyes. She looked at the girls, trying to recognize any aside from Catherine. "There, shall we go, then?"

Both Benjen's sisters are there, along with a tall girl, Ellaria Dayne 9apparently less annoyed with her now), and one girl she doesn't recognize. Catherine grins. "Faster than we got ready. I had to promise King Terrence we'd take some guards, so once we find them we'll be on our way."

She smiled at them all, even at Ellaria Dayne. "I shouldn't think they would be too hard to find," she said of the guards.

"I'd hope not. We can always scream 'man in our room' if we want them to appear." they head out and see the mostly silent Gerlad Bolton and a half dozen men waiting. "And our escort awaits." They walk to the stables. "Better pick a good horse. Not my Bethany either..." Catherine rubs her favorite horse's head and murmurs cutely to it.

Arania looked at the horses. They all looked the same to her. "How do I know if its a good one, or not?" She touched the nose of one of the horses carefully, rubbing between its eyes. "I'm not the best rider," she admitted, even that exageratting her skill.

The girls giggle. "Well, you should have said so! Here, take Molly. She won't throw you off or try biting you." The strange girl tells her. "I'm Ella by the way. Kal's half sister."

"Thank you," Arania said gratefully, taking the horse's lead. She smiled at the girl. "Pleased to meet you, Ella. I have the feeling you and I will have much to discuss."

"Oh, undoubtedly." Ella gracefully ascends her horse. "Kalvin says such nice things about you. I hope they're all true," she winks.

Far less gracefully, Arania manages to get on the back of the horse. "That's good to hear. Do you live at Winterfell, or here in Eddard's Rest?"

"Winterfell or Braavos usually...though I hear Braavos may be less than friendly now," she says teasingly. "Although really, I've heard no complaints from it..."

Arania's mouth tightened. "You haven't? That's curious. I never thought that the North was so closely aligned with Braavos, but I certainly thought that I'd managed to break all those ties at once. I imagine something will be heard sooner than later."

Not far away, Reyna Harlaw stood in the stable doorway. She waved over at the girls.
"Hello!" She said.
Though she was smiling, her eyes were strained and her skin pale, so it was obvious she had been worrying about something.
