"I'm not afraid," Reyna retorted. "I'm just not accustomed, that's all. I'm better on ships than horses."

"We know who to bring along if we go picnicking on one of the God's Eye's little rock islands, then." Catherine regards her thoughtfully. "So what is your beloved like? I do not believe I've ever met him."

"He's wonderful. Brave and strong and handsome. Good company too."
She spoke with the honeyed tones of a woman in love.
"I haven't met many Northmen, except I met Prince Benjen once, and Kalvin of course."

"He sounds like an excellent husband, then. I hope he keeps you satisfied," she grins. "You're lord Theon's daughter, aren't you?"

Ella shrugs. "Well, you'd think rumors would have come out or something...but so far, our spies say there was a disturbance but it all got settled. The Sealord's words were 'a misunderstanding'." Arania snorted. "Misunderstanding? Is that what they're calling it? Do you know anything at all about the new Sealord?"

"New Sealord? It's the same man." Ella looks confused.

"He sounds like an excellent husband, then. I hope he keeps you satisfied," she grins. "You're lord Theon's daughter, aren't you?" "Yes. Though I daresay he will refuse to acknowledge me now I am married to Fyodor. My father does not approve of our people marrying outside the islands."

"Well, perhaps he'll come around, when he sees you're really in love with a good man who doesn't share you with a dozen helpless prisoners." Catherine shrugged.

"Well..." She looked at Ella strangely. "Wait...what did you say? How could it possibly be the same man? I was there when he was murdered!"

"That wasn't the story my sources told me...they said he made a forward move on you, and then his woman thought you were trying to kill him and she was struck down..." Ella looks confused. "He just gave a speech the other week."

Arania just looked at her. Perhaps the Faceless Man had put on a new face. She shook her head slowly. "My brain must be addled from all the sun in New Valyria. I am sure he is quite well, the Sealord. A robust old man if I ever saw one." She managed to put a smile on her face.

Ella looks annoyed. "Now you're just humoring me. So he really was killed? Hmm..." She look at Arania with a new respect. "And you escaped?"

"Well, perhaps he'll come around, when he sees you're really in love with a good man who doesn't share you with a dozen helpless prisoners." Catherine shrugged. Reyna burst out laughing at that. "Love? I don't think my father knows the meaning of the word. If anything, he probably think it makes me weak. But I tell you, I think the Drowned God sent Fyodor to me. I could not have borne to live out my life on the islands doing nothing but sewing dull clothing and birthing children. So I think the Drowned God sent Fyodor to save me from that fate. Even if I must lose my family, I think he's worth it."

"Sorry, I just didn't know if you'd believe me," Arania said sheepishly. "He was. And I did. Barely, I think...though they didn't chase us down nearly as long as I had thought they would." She looked pensively at her hands, holding the reins of the horse. "Did you say his woman was struck down? Do you mean Gina Delangue?"

"I seldom hear such enthusiasm!" Catherine exclaimed. "Maybe I should have met him first," she winks. "But, we're off!" She races off suddenly.
//
"Yes." She says, a sudden edge in her voice. "Not that the trollop didn't deserve it." They see Catherine and the two other Starks gallop off. "They do love their riding. Looks like the Ironborn lass isn't so fond though." She waves Reyna over.
