Reyna asmiled.
"Riding the dragon was a marvellous experience and a great temptation. But I love Fyodor more than I enjoyed the dragon, and besides, it was very clear to me that King Sirius controlled the creature. I am not so sure if he would allow his guests to ride it more than once. After all, it only takes once to impress a person."

She nodded to Ella and continued. "You're right. Even standing near the creature was impressive! You know, the first day I was there, we saw the black dragon fly in. That was terrifying. Did you see it? Almost the size of the great pyramid itself." She shivered involuntarily, just thinking about it.

"I never saw the black dragon," Reyna confided. "I only saw the green one. But it was magnificent. I knew dragons were big, but not that big! A wondrous creature indeed, and I can understand how the Targaryens of old terrorised the Seven Kingdoms."

Arania was silent for a moment, thinking of Vhagus and all his terrible plans. "I pray that the dragons never return to Westeros. Neither the beasts nor the men. We have enough problems all on our own." She made a face. "I'm sorry. I tend to turn all conversations to gloom these days."

"It doesn't matter," Reyna said. "These are dark times for us all. Only a fool would deny that things are happening."
