"Benjen?" he asks, "Oh, the prince. Well, I hope I'm far off Lord Bryce's mind. Very far. Things will get better, my lady, then worse, then better. That's how life goes. For instance, my day was boring, now it is better."

Darius had been getting impatient of staying in Riverrun, and so had taken to even more drinking, enjoying the availability of decent wine, and planning to hopefully make the time waiting somewhat shorter. It was to this purpose that he had been in the great hall for most of the day, and had been drinking for most of that time, obvious in his desire to make time pass.

Korben walked back into the great hall, having gone on a bit of a walk to explore the grounds of Riverrun while he could. There wasn't much to do, with many areas playing host to other lords and their entourages, due to how many had shown up.
He'd sworn he spotted some with missing eyes as well, and it made him feel a bit better knowing he wasn't the only one-eyed one in the bunch.
He came to the table with the wine and spotted someone with red hair having their fill, smirking as he did so, "Didn't know the wine here was that good..." Korben said as he examined the mans drinking, "Is that a different batch, or the same one they've been serving all day?" he asked jokingly.

"The wine is alright" Darius said, not nearly as drunk as he wanted to be. "I think its a new batch"

"Really? Let me get some of that." Korben said as he filled his cup with some of the new brew, taking a drink of it and nodding. "Names Korben. What's yours?" he asked his new drinking buddy.

"Darius Sand" Darius said, rising. "The Crimson Bastard of Dorne...and many other things" he added before filling another goblet with wine.

"Dorne, huh? Would have guessed Tyroshi myself." Korben said, pacing himself with his drink.
"I'm a Kenning, of Kayce. That's about the long and short of it as far as titles go."

"Well, the hair and masterful skills are from Tyrosh" Darius said. "Good to meet you Kenning, you working for the wolf or the lion?"

"I've never met the man, but so many people who hate each other talking bout him must have some merit," he said. "And a sorcerer besides. I'd not want to be near him." He idly strums his harp. "Is he a frequent talk around your family, then?"

Rode in with the rest for this union." He said with a somewhat sour disposition at the word union, "How about you? You one of the sellswords hired for the war that's not going to happen?" He asked curiously, guessing from his dornish tyroshi backgroundm

"I think he is frequently talked about by a lot of families," Robyn said, and decided to once again divert conversation onto something else, "have you entered the tourney?"

Jared nods. "I'll joust, poorly. Maybe fight with sword and shoot my bow." He shrugs. "I like to practice but I've been out of the game a while now." He is lean and strong enough that it's likely he's stretching the truth there. "You don't remind me of many ladies. I approve."

"I am sure you are being far too modest" Robyn laughed at his approval, but with him, not at him, "I would be sad indeed if I seemed like most ladies to you. The fruit of a life's work wasted. When I was younger, my sisters were the pretty little ladies, I thought my parents did not need another. I like who I am, even if others do not." She shrugged, "I am glad that you have gratified me though, makes me feel so much better," she teased.

"I am modest," he admitted. "I am actually quite the badass. What do you plan on, now that your brother is wedding again and the war will come when the winter ends?"
