The main palace of Lys holds events and business meetings. Sometimes the Prince stays here.

The bald steward and soldiers escorted the Ironborn visitors to the Palace. In front were two statues, one of Lucian's father, and one of himself. His own statue was much grander and surrounding him were statues of women. The guards and soldiers all wore similar looking attire to make them look more uniform. The Prince sat in the throne lazily, today he had been seeing guests and the Prince and Farwynd were fortunate enough to catch him at this time.

As Uhtred speaks he language, he presents Killion to Prince Lucian "May I present Lord Captain Killion of House Greyjoy, Heir to the crown of Salt and Rock, High Reaver of the Iron Islands, Blessed of the Drowned God and Captain of King Harren’s Revenge, here to seek audience with Your Royal Highness, Prince Lucian of Lys, the Grand General of Lys, Philosopher King, the Most Benevolent, the Most Humourous and the Man with the Best Smile in the Known World."

Lucian perked up in his chair a little bit. From a distance he had thought that he was being brought some new mummers for entertainment. But these guests would potentially be much more interesting.
"Welcome," he said back in Westerosi. His voice was heavily accented but understandable.
"Nice to meet you," he said while standing up. He himself wore a uniform but much more fancier than of his men. When he stood he tugged it straight and moved down the steps.
The prince extended his hand in greeting to the two men and smiled.

Uhtred saw that this needed no translation, and waited back for his prince to act. Obviously he was in a minor role here not as before, so he waited dressed in his simple grey garb. Unlike the Lys, Braavosi tradition had the noble and rich dress in drab colors, and thus while he was dressed as Braavosi noble he was quite plain.

Killion tried not to laugh as Uhtred listed his titles, actually raising an eyebrow at some of them, as well as the flowery language. Nonetheless, he attempted to look dignified, despite his roguish appearance.
"The pleasure is ours." the reaver replied, shaking the hand of the Lyseni. "We come bearing gifts from our recent conquest of the Arbor, as signs of our good will. Casks of the finest wine in Westeros, a commodity that has likely has likely skyrocketed in price of late."

Lucian stood there with them, gave each man a look in turn before concentrating on the Prince as he spoke. He nodded his head at the mention of wine. He liked wine. "Lets party then!" He roared out and extended his hands in a wide and generous manner.
Lucian turned to the bald man and in rapid fire Valyrian commanded that some of the wine and women be brought to the palace. The bald man ran off, apparently quite the speedy one.
"Please tell me of some interesting battles!"

Killion smiled from ear to ear, at the evidence this would be a far less tedious and migraine-inducing affair than his last diplomatic engagement. The Lyseni appeared to be a man after his own heart, at least in terms of vices.
"You a are a gracious host." he commended. "And we have no shortage of those as of late. "The Western Fleet has been reduced to waterlogged splinters and the Galleon Corps of the Arbor Fleet now charred husks. I have fought on the shores of Lannisport and the Ironborn have lit the Mander aflame. Now, we look to bring fire and blade against the Volantene Fleet in the Stepstones and the weakened Tyrosh. I thought perhaps you would see fit to join us in the endeavor and forge some tales of your own."

Pretty ladies were ushered in in various states of undress, from young to old, from small to large. Several surrounded Lucian, perhaps his favourites. The others lined up to be chosen by the two guests.
The steward returned in a huff and said that wine would be along shortly.
The Prince waved them over to some seats so that they could discuss things in comfort. He nodded along with Killion's description of events. He had considered Westeros to be of not much consequence but tales of the Iron Born's prowess with ships and warfare intrigued even him.
He did want to have stories told about his experience and fearlessness in battle. "Your men sound skilled and brave. There is many chances for success here." Prince Killion could sense a 'but' coming as Lucian paused to brush one of his girls' hair. "But we have just met no? And this Targaryen is making many erm, tighten their belts as you might say."

Killion chose an exotic looking beauty, always having had a fondness for Lyseni women and their talents. After all, two of his first salt wives had been trained on this island as bedslaves, and had provided many fond memories before they had aged passed their prime. He wondered if the ones here were familiar with the seven sighs and the sixteen seats of pleasure. If they had earned a place in the prince's court, it was likely.
"Aye, we have just met, but there no stronger bond among my people than that forged in battle." he smiled. "Besides I bring you a rare opportunity, the chance to see Lys rise as the most powerful of the Free Cities at the expense of your rivals Tyrosh and Volantis. There is much to be gained from aiding us in taking the Stepstones and Tyrosh. The Stepstones free of pirates and patrolled by my ships would ensure safe passage for your merchants. We would offer reduced tariffs to Lys in enforce increased ones for the other Free Cities, which would give you a powerful economic advantage over your remaining rivals."
He leaned forward now, so only the two princes could hear, to whisper his final point.

Uhtred took some wine, but disdained from picking a woman for now. There would be time for that later, for now was business.
He leaned forward and spoke up to emphasize Killions point "Lys has proved herself a power in the world in the last year, as she demonstrated when she led the charge in destroying the insolent Pirate King Entel Moray. I worked with your Admiral Karellian, showed how we could work together to further each others interests and gained much from the coalition that was formed. We destroyed the pirates fleet, and the traders and merchants sang our praise for freeing them from his tyranny. Would that we could do that again? It would be a chance for glory for you, instead of your admirals and a chance to expand your fleet." He hoped the subtle hint about Karellian was noticed, as he was honestly worried about her. They wanted to deal with this man, and a coup now would destabilize any plans they had, and she was ambitious and popular enough to try something stupid, that might just work.

Lucian stopped playing around with the girl to listen to the two men. The Iron Born would just replace the current pirates with their own ships, the venture of policing the seas of the Stepstones was bothersome, and if the Iron Born wanted to do that for plunder he had no problem with it so long as his ships were untouched. It was all boring and he was losing his focus but at the Prince's final point he perked up again, forgetting about the girl with him entirely. "Very interesting."
Karellian had acted on her own without consulting him which had sent him to a rage when he learned about it. The bright side was they got a little more leverage in the area.
Presently he got angry at recalling her disobedience. Lucian had a sour look on his face for a few moments before he turned his attention back to what Greyjoy had said.
"You have some plan of action? The Tyroshi are like the cockaroach, always fleeing and hiding."

Uhtred mused "I always thought of them more as those colored birds of the summer islands. Plumed with their colored hair, and always parroting the words of their betters. But just like those birds, they must always return to their nest, and if we smash it no more birds, yes?" He crushes the wine cup for emphasis, and lets the metal roll across the floor as he selects another one "but the real problem here is the Volantese."

"With our combined forces, even Volantis would be swept aside." Killion stated with conviction. "They vie against Celtigar's fleet and would be caught unawares by a force of such strength, caught between anvil and hammer."

Harwyn, who had remained silent to this point, spoke up with a smile. "We do not provide only ships, either. We have thousands of men we can land to crush any resistance, secure any holding. They would be crippled for years if all of their shipyards were burned."
