Terrence embraces King Brynden next, then waves everyone in. "But it's cold. Please, come inside, enjoy the fire and food and let's celebrate the joining of our families!" Everyone heads into the great hall for a feast for the nobility.

Benjen holds out his arm for Joanna to take. "How was your journey, my lady? I hope it isn't too cold for you here. The weather hasn't been the kindest of late."

"Quite uneventful, I'm afraid," Joanna replied. "Although considering the times.. it is clearly for the better. Oh, the weather is not too bad." Truthfully, the cold did not bother her that much. Most her childhood had passed during the winter, after all. Still, she looked to him with a little twinkle in her green eyes. "Although I guess going south for somewhere warmer would not be a terrible idea. But alas, I fear you might have to go down that road without me."

"It certainly seems so, Lady Joanna, though I do not look forward to having to leave you behind at Eddard's Rest. The castle is still in disrepair, though I hear Kal Stark has set his men to the repairs." He lead the way inside, happy for the warmth. "The Faith however will need to be dealt with first. And Bryce Dayne."

"No more talk of that man. Not tonight," Terrence warns. "We will have a happy night if it kills me, son." He smiles at Joanna. "My apologies, Joanna, he cannot ever stop thinking of war. Even on the eve of a wedding."

"I am sorry father, it is just hard to switch off," Benjen said, with an apologetic smile to Joanna. "Please, tell me of Lannisport. I have never visited."

"Oh, but you must one day. It is most lovely during the summer; always bustling with trade and interesting travellers. It is also said we have the best-trained City Watch of Westeros," she said, well aware of the irony in her last sentence, but her unfazed expression not giving it away. "And what of Eddard's Rest, Prince Benjen? I understand it is being restored now, but what is it like in its prime?" She smiled. "I guess I will get to see it soon myself."

"It's big," Benjen said with a small laugh. "Harrenhal was said to be a large castle, though it was shrunk down to become the castle of Eddard's Rest. Still, the city around it is large. Hopefully it will not take too long for full repairs to be made." He smiled and waved a servant over with some wine.
"I would like to see Lannisport, though I must ask if the streets are really paved with gold." He looked at her with a grin, showing the question wasn't quite serious.

Daxos Jubalho arrived at the wedding of the decade with all the pomp and ceremony expected of an ambassador of the Summer Isles; complete with generous gifts of casks of the amber wine his land was known for, a grand chest of mahogany filled with rare pelts and incense, and even a goldenheart bow-famed to be the finest in the world.
As he overheard the Prince talking to his future bride about his "big city" he knew this would be his sort of spirited affair.

Lord Galbart sat on a far corner staring down at his ale, he wondered what to do with his life...

Morgan Brax arrived at the wedding. She hadn't yet broached the matter of a Dornish alliance with Princess Kelsey but intended to do so when she had the chance.

"They are," she replied simply with a light smile, and it was hard to tell whether she was joking or not. She accepted the glass of wine, hoping there was a lot more where that came from.

Benjen gave a laugh and sipped from his wine glass, holding it in front of him for a moment. He tried to think of a witty retort and blanked, taking a moment to pretend to look at a painting on the wall.
"A lot of people here already," He said somewhat inanely.

As he overheard the Prince talking to his future bride about his "big city" he knew this would be his sort of spirited affair. Observing from the corner, Galbart saw the foreign beauty arrive. This dark man had something about him that picked on the Lord's curiosity, a curiosity that had not sparked for a long time inside him. He straightened his mustache, the uttermost symbol of his sexuality, and his clothes, black boiled leather and heavy fur cloak. "What a surprise... A summer Islander! Never expected to meet one in person!" The Lord of Karhold approached, he felt the musky scent that exuded from that ebony glory. His tone calm and merry. "Lord Galbart Karstark, at your service." He finished with a small bow.

"Then you have not followed your passions enough in life!" the Summer Islander exclaimed, overjoyed for the conversation, especially with one so slender and mustachioed. "For wherever there is passion, one of my kind cannot be far off."
"I am Daxos Jubalho, ambassador to Westeros from the Summer Isles." he added in greeting, looking at his own reflection in the bald man's forehead and taking comfort in his own visage. "You are well met, Lord Kastark."
