"Not recently, no," Ami confessed. "But then I have been traveling back and forth between various places. No doubt I will receive several offers of marriage at the wedding." She smirked. "Especially when you consider the dress I will be wearing." She giggled.

Ellaria just smiles at that. "Well I wish you luck." As they talk, the pair sees a dozen men on horseback ride in. They wear unfamiliar colors, a black dragon staring forward over a burning field. Ellaria looks curiously "Who is that?"

Amelia was about to ask about any marriage prospects Ellaria had when the men rode in. "What... I don't know..." She whispered back to Ellaria, deciding to approach the men. "Greetings! I am Lady Amelia Royce," She called out, the first to greet the riders.

The leading man stops and dismounts. He lifts his helmet and bows lightly. "My lady Amelia, I am Ronald of King's Landing, sent as an ambassador from the King Across the Sea, Vhagus Targaryen. It is an honor to meet you." He kisses her hand if proffered, and does the same to the Lady Ellaria. "I had no idea Westeros had two suns that shine so brightly."

Amelia did her best to keep a welcoming smile on her face when she heard the name, offering her hand to be kissed.
"King Vhagus Targaryen... I see," She replied with a curtsy. "And to what do we have the honour of hosting an ambassador at Riverrun?"

Ronald smiles warmly. "A mutual rival, my lady. the Free City of Volantis has been wreaking havoc in this kingdom. Funding mercenaries, propping up false lords, sending fleets to blockade your ports." His handsome grin never drops. "King Vhagus sees a common enemy. The tigers have plenty of claws and they are rabidly trying to scratch everyone within reach."

"Of course," Amelia responded, trying to get her diplomatic facade together. "Well, I hope you will enjoy Riverrun and the wedding." She motioned for a servant to bring bread and salt for the newly arrived guests.
"King Vhagus... how goes his... conquests?"

"Well enough, my lady," he says. "We make ground on the false dragons in Meereen, and to the west we have made it to the forests of Qohor. The Free Cities and my master have signed a nonaggression pact for three years, Braavos and Volantis the only recalcitrants. Qarth to the far east will face us next," he predicted. "The warlocks saw fit to send a Sorrowful Man after His Grace. It has proved a...poor decision."

"I can only imagine what Vhagus did to deal with a Sorroful Man," Amelia mentioned, feeling mildly bad for the assassin. "I am sure Prince Benjen will wish to speak with you when he arrives, no doubt any day now." She looked over at Ellaria.

Ellaria looks fascinated. "He killed a Sorrowful Man? How many men does he have?"
Ronald looks to her in some surprise. "Hundreds of thousands, my lady. He is the Khal of Khals and master of Mantarys and a dozen other cities."

"Yes, well, you will not doubt wish to rest after your journey," Amelia said to the man, seeing what was going on. "If there is anything you wish I do not doubt Lord Tully will be very giving."

Lady Rowena curtsied and gave the woman a small smile. She was dressed in a simple dark green dress and her light brown hair was tied in a knot.
"I am sorry for my appearance, but I wanted to introduce myself before me and my husband get prepared for the wedding. I hope you nor the wedding couples do not take offence, Lady Amelia. Travelling with five children takes it's toll on you."

"Do not worry, Lady Rowena, I myself am dressed quite tardily," Ami said with a friendly smile. "As it happens none of the parties to be married have arrived yet, but that will likely change in the next few days."
