The castle of Hellholt is located near the source of the river Brimstone, east of Sandstone and west of Vaith. The Hellholt is a grim, stinking castle and the town below is empty in the day due to the scorching sun.

Ser Borros Brimstone arrives at Hellholt, bedraggled and weary, his horse covered in a sheen of sweat and his clothes coated in a fine red dust. He announced himself and demanded an audience with Lady Isabel, stating the matter was of utmost urgency.

Ser Borros was greeted at the gate by several guards who informed him that Lady Isabel was currently away to oversee some of the villages south of Hellholt, though she was expected to return home soon. Borros is shown to some chambers however and is greeted within by a stocky knight in his thirties.
"Ser Ryan Holt," The man says, extending a hand to Borros.

"Ser Borros of Brimstone." he said, remembering his courtesies, shaking the hand before getting straight to the point. "Frances Dayne has put White Dunes to the sword. Lady Isabel must be informed immediately. or I fear Brimstone will be next."

"Gods, what!" Ser Ryan said, looking shocked. "The bastard! I will send a messenger immediately to find Lady Uller." He snapped at a servant to get to it.
Holt turned back to Borros. "I hope you have set to preparing the village against an attack." The man was in his thirties, had short cropped back hair and brown eyes. He has a square jaw and his nose was slightly to large for his face/

"Of course, I know my duty." he replied, a bit more brusque than he intended, irked a bit that Ser Ryan thought he even had to ask. "The levies are being raised and townsfolk are hard at work fortifying as best we can. Even so, the aid of Hellholt would be appreciated. We are short on true soldiers and Dayne's murderers number at least fifty."

Ser Ryan nodded. "I am subject to Lady Uller's command but know that I will offer all the men I can to assist against Frances Dayne." The knight lead the way to his own chambers, where he offered Borros some wine. "Just fifty you said? He's sticking to raiding parties then. No point in sending a big army into the desert just yet."

"We would be in your debt, ser." Borros said with gratitude, taking the offered wine to wet his dust-parched throat. "Though it is not the numbers that trouble me, but the barbarism displayed. Ser Tristifer was flayed alive and his young daughter's face skinned."

Ser Ryan simply stared at Borros, disbelief on his face. "Why would anyone do such a thing..." He quickly downs his wine before pouring some more. "The man must be slain as soon as possible. Death is the only way to deal with that sort of man."

"I am of the same mind in the matter." Borros agreed, fists clenching at thought. "The Daynes are rabid dogs that have bitten their master's hand. They need to be put down."

"Agreed," Ser Ryan said, looking angry. "Lady Uller will no doubt return as quickly as possible, Ser Borros. In the meantime please make use of any of the servants. If you wish to train, the yard is open to you."

"Thank you Ser Ryan. Please let me know the moment that she does."
Borros would not waste the rare opportunity to train with actual knights and fighting men, not with war upon him. He made his way to the yard.

He found the yard empty, though a moment later Ser Ryan followed him.
"Perhaps a quick bout wouldn't be amiss, Ser?" He asked.

"I think it would be prudent, given I have not had to raise a sword in my defense since Blackhaven."
He took up a training sword and shield, turning to face Ser Ryan. "What of you?"

"Only in the yard," Ser Ryan admitted, taking a lighted mace and a shield. "Now, let's see what the knight of Brimstone can do."
He grinned and raised his shield, getting into a defensive position.
