Robyn visits the Queen, her mother in her chambers, assuming she is there due to her delicate health. She had quickly changed into a dress for the meeting, and had even brushed her hair, though did not put it up in any kind of a fashion.
"Good day Mother," Robyn greeted, after being let into the rooms, "I hope you are well."

Queen Janelle is a slim and delicate woman of forty-two, with pale blonde hair and grey eyes. She smiles at her daughter's noble but not complete state of dress. "Good afternoon, my dear. How have your...travels been?" The queen generally pretends her daughter is going off on educational trips to different castles around the realm, perhaps to land a husband or even just not a war zone.

"Very rewarding, thank you, mother," Robyn said and moved to her mother side, seemingly uncomfortable without a pack over her shoulder and a corset on, "my trip north, as they always are have helped me grow a lot as a person..." she knew her mother did not approve, "You must be as relieved as you distressed, what with everything that's happened, but with father seeming to be getting better?"

"Better...yes," she says quietly. Since the death of her granddaughter she has seemed a different person. "Much better." She looks to her youngest child. "Where are you going now?"

"East with Benjen I think, to the vale, unless something else catches my attention," she said truthfully, if after some hesitation, "He is here also, I am sure he will come and see you."

"I do hope so," she says, a bit of life returning to her voice. "Your sister Meera writes from Sunspear. Lord Dayne is smashing every army sent his way, and she fears her husband and Princess Nalya will try taking the battle to him with too few men." She shudders at the thought of the infamous warlord.

"Perhaps we are looking in the wrong place then. There is no point going east if a worse threat is rising to the south." She made a note to talk to Benjen about this, "I do not know if we'd have men to spare to go south to help them, have you spoken to father about it?"

Janelle shakes her head sadly. "Neither Lord Tyrell, the High Septon in Summerhall, nor, I think, Lord Baratheon would allow us to cross their lands to battle that...man." She looks out the window. "Without Gulltown we cannot launch a fleet strong enough to help."

Robyn had never really heard many stories about Lord Dayne to know why her mother seemed to against him. She didn't really listen to rumours and gossip.
"The only way is east then. Could Baratheon not be persuaded to the importance of thwarting Lord Dayne? After all, he is in more imminent danger than we are."
Robyn did not necessarily think they should risk Northern lives to fight the terrors at the doors of others, even if it would be for the best in the long run."

"Prince Baratheon is waging war against the followers of the seven in the Stormlands in service of his Red God. His lords are choosing their only hope for victory against him." Janelle thought. "Perhaps Benjen can find out. Our cousin Lord Kalvin will be here any day with an army strong enough to defeat anyone, I'm sure of it."

"There is no such thing as an army that cannot be defeated though," Robyn said, nodding, "it's all well to have a grand strategy about this, but things will have to be reassessed after we finish reclaiming the Vale.. we may not be fit enough to defend ourselves, let alone rush to the aid of Meera."

Janelle nods. "Benjen will know more. He has always been so good at war..." her voice trails off. "We must save Meera. I cannot lose another daughter."

"another?" Robyn asked, raising an eyebrow, not sure if she had lost a sister, before getting it.
"Well, maybe I could go and get Meera, bring here home? It would be easier for a few people to travel than an army?" She wanted to make her mother less sad and if trying to save daughters she preferred was the way to do it, so be it. They were more valuable than she was anyway.

Janelle nods. "We can ask, at least. I miss her so, and she is in such danger." She looks to Robyn. "You've grown up so strong, Robyn. I love you so much."

"With them with me, how could I fail," she asked with a grin, rubbing the back of her head when her mother said she loved her. If was not lost on her though that she was less concerned about putting her in danger than getting Meera out of it, but she optimistically out that down to faith in her youngest. "I get it from my mother, there are many types of strength. I'll talk to father when he has done with Benjen"
