Uhtred will take whichever pirate captains are left over from the captured corsairs, and will meet with them personally. He wants to know any and all information on how they enter Ferrous keep, the patrol patterns, and any countermeasures for entering. He informs them quite bluntly that they'll be sailing into Ferrous soon, and if they don't want to drown or get their throats cut, they will cooperate.

The primary countermeasures are the forts. They possess heavy catapults and ballista, and sit higher than any ship's armaments can reach. If one can get past them into Ferrous Bay, there is little room to maneuver, but the keep itself is defended just by a few hundred in the town and garrison.

Uhtred will man the corsairs to capacity, as well as two of the obviously merchant ships to serve as "captured in battle" and explain why the patrols were out that long. It being only a day or two after the patrols were ambushed, no one should be the wiser that the Titans are here to play and play hard. The rest of his fleet along with Saans will move out behind the Trojan Ships, with the plan being as follows.
Uhtred will lead every man jammed belowdecks of the corsairs and merchant ships in two groups, to take the forts from land after landing at the harbor at twilight. While the forts are perfectly situated for a sea based attack, one from land from the inner island should be something they won't expect. This will be hard and fast, and once the signal fires burn at each fort, or at least one of them on Saans prerogative, the rest of the fleet will move in to assault and give the numbers to simply overwhelm the keep.

Lord Uhtred: 8 Corsairs, 2 Galleys, 880 men at start. Once the forts are neutralized four more ships may enter the small docking area.
Ferrous Keep:

Ambush round: The evening is quiet as the ships slide through the black waters, shaded by the cliffs containing the forts. Lord Moray's flotilla passes through without incident and arrive at the docks, which is when the first indication something is wrong occurs. Apparently a code word is offered at the time of debarkation, and none of the captains had told them (failed persuasion roll). Uhtred shrugs as the alarm goes up, as the element of surprise could still be his...
Uhtred: 164, Double losses for enemy for two rounds, immediate rally failed due to no commander.
Uhtred's men destroy the town garrison effortlessly with surprise, losing two men to injury. Uhtred now must split his troops to attack both forts simultaneously, as they rain missiles on his ships, or pick one at a time with his whole force.

Split troops. If the men in the forts are fighting against his raiders on both fronts, then the fully loaded galleons can move in for reinforcements right away.

Round 1: As Uhtred's men rush, missiles rain in the docks, smashing ships left and right. Flaming oil burns even on the water.
East Camp:
Uhtred's commander: 160 Fort Commander: 83 Uhtred: 184
Uhtred and his men run into the fort as fast as they can, dodging missiles and the like as they get to the small wall. A traitor opens the gate for them shortly, and the fort is stormed after only a few minutes. Losses are heavy from arrows but light once the walls are breached.
Uhtred: 350 men Fort: 150
West Camp:
Uhtred's man: 65 West fort commander: 144
Regrettably, on the other side the arrows cut his men to shreds as they charge, their leader's absence seeming to take something out of their ability to organize. they crowd too closely together, a natural instinct in a fight, and that makes them easy targets for the crossbowman. The approaching galleons are shelled from the west and are too unwieldy to completely avoid by swerving east
Uhtred: 300 West Fort: 185
4 Corsairs and a galley sunk by artillery and fire.

West:
Uhtred's men: 159 Fort: 107
Uhtred's men stop the barrage finally and breach parts of the wall. The losses mount but the battle is in their favor now. Uhtred's men: 225 men Fort: 145 men
2 more corsairs and final galley sunk, 2 galleons suffer damage with 25 killed.

Round 3:
West:
Uhtred's commander: 93 Fort: 68

Uhtred, weary but unscathed from the fight regroups the men and heads up a flag of white to parley with Moray. He'll have orders sent back to the fleet to have Giovanda and Ornus sent out the scout ships. He doesn't want to get ambushed so close to the prize. He'll start to have some of the men start to move the heavy weaponry from the forts and ships to prepare for bombardment of the keep.

Selwyn Moray shouts over the walls. "Who the hell are all of you?" His archers nock arrows.

Uhtred will step carefully to just out from effective arrow range. "We're mercenaries looking to make this place a outpost of ours." He shouts up "you surrender now, and lay down your arms, and you have my word that you and your men can leave here peacefully in a ship of my choosing. Otherwise, I will bring death upon you and all yours under charges of piracy and rebellion. I need the island, not your head."
