Jason grins as Corbray speaks, followed by a quiet chuckle. "I'll leave at once, my lord. Almost feel bad for what Grafton has coming to him."

"I don't," Lord Corbray says, sounding a bit pleased. "Not even a little."

With a smirk, Jason bowed again and turned to leave the tent and gather the clansmen he'd take.

Arriving back at camp with Crowl and his men from the north in tow, Jason heads straight to Lord Corbray's command tent, gesturing for Crowl to enter first. "Lady leads the way."

Crowl in response grabs Jason by the shoulder and pushes him inside the tent. "Then by all means, go on ahead." He growls before entering the tent himself.

"Kill people. Lots of people," he said. "Lord Richard is besieging Runestone. We must relieve it to have any legitimacy here. I'm hoping your men and your particular brand of violence can give us the strength we need to push south."

"I believe we can manage that. I split up my force when going over the mountains and there has been no word from Lars yet. But my men are ready to go whenever you command it." The Crowl states almost eagerly.

"Good." Fillmore points to a map. "We are heavily outnumbered, but we have a chance to bolster our forces. Lord Richard's men are besieging Runestone, and we need to break that siege to have a chance to win this war."

"I can't imagine they will let us just March down to Runestone to lift the siege especially with it so close to Gulltown. What are the enemy forces between here and there looking like?" Crowl says gazing down at the map to study it.

"They aren't strong on the roads," Corbray explains. "The cold has driven them to camp in the city or in castles near it. I htink a few thousand men can sneak along the coast to destroy the besieging force."

"Yes my lord. What should we do next, if we are able to relieve any forces at Runestone then we should be in a good position to strike at Gulltown before the enemy can muster a counter attack." Crowl asks.

"Exactly. If we relieve Runestone we can rally Lord Royce's forces to ours." Fillmore nods. "Then we can march right on their damn city."
