Eleven thousand strong, Lords Corbray and Goldwater's host fights a ceaseless battle against the rebel Grafton's forces. A victory three days prior has left the men in high spirits, but the encirclement caused by the intervention of the Kingsland fleet has left the forces spread dangerously thin.

Walking towards the tent of Lord Corbray, Jason wore a smile that hid his inner thoughts as he passed many of the men he knew. The recent victory had certainly done a great deal for morale, but the worsening situation still lingered in his mind. Arriving at the tent, he gave his name and waited as he worked over the thoughts in his head.

A few minutes later he comes into the tent. Lord Corbray and many other knights sit about, staring at maps and planning. He nods to the warrior. "Good to see you alive and well. I had hoped your mission attacking their supply train wasn't too dangerous."

Still unsure of whether or not he was supposed to bow, Jason shifted uncomfortably for a moment before speaking. "It went as well as we could have hoped, but I know there is more to be done. I'm ready to go out again as soon as you need me, my lord."

"We will wait a few days. A winter storm is blowing down, and we don't want to get separated." Lord Durand makes a face. "It could cut them off from reinforcements, though, so prepare for more battle soon."

Jason gave a quick nod. "Hopefully we can make the best of it. Is there anything else you need of me, my lord?"

Fillmore nods. "Word has reached s of one Harrys Snow, a notorious brigand and sorcerer who assisted the clans in their last uprising. If he is here we need him found."

"Of course, my lord. I will do everything I can to see him brought before you." Jason thought back briefly to see if he recognized the name.

He remembers Harrys Snow is some sort of associate of the late notorious fugitive Cassadar, and probably too dangerous for oneman, even the Bandit's Bane.

Jason lets out a quiet grunt upon thinking of Cassadar again. "Will there be any men assisting me in this, my lord?"

Fillmore nods. "Everyone is looking for him, but word is he probably isn't the area. Just keep an eye out for now. Men like him have a tendency to appear with...a sense of theater."

"Lord Crowl and Lars Liddle are leading men into the mountains to come join us." Corbray has an evil smile. "We could use that crazy cannibal bastard. Take some clansman and find them. Bring them to the camp so we can unleash his particular brand of fury on Lord Grafton."
