"When I return to Highgarden, I will speak to Lord Tyrell about such a mission." replied Harys. "If the Ironborn should possess such a ship, then the rest of Westeros would tremble. For now though I shall complete my own mission."

Over the next day or so, Harys resupplies his ships and taking Lord Hewett's extra eight ships on offer, moves north along the coast.

//// With an amphibious assault against Lannisport suicidal, Killion ordered his fleet south to join their strength to Lord Reaver Theon Harlaw's in the the Shield Islands. The delight of having sunk the Western Fleet turned to ash in his mouth as he came accross Ironborn vessels fleeing some great battle. He questioned one of the fleeing captains on what had occurred.

Lord Drumm joined the prince for the questioning. Red Rain was sheathed at his side and his arms were folded across his chest.

The man has a huge bandage over an eye and is missing two fingers, clearly a new development. "Well, y'see, my prince, the Hewetts sent their ships at us, all fifty of'em, and we met hard a few miles north of Greyshield. We took'em like the dogs they are, then the Lord Captain sent the corsairs and galleys to snatch the castles, plunder and the ladies and all, but I guess it was all a trick. Even the Serrys didn't know what was goin on, I was halfway inside the eldest daughter when I hear that there's a fleet coming. I get up, run the wench to my boat, and by the Drowned God himself we see a hundred or more ships bearing down. The Lord Captain had his galleons split up covering the landings, and that son of a bitch Redwyne found his flagship first off, then had pitch and arrows of fire burn it right to the hulk. When they went to swim they chummed the waters with dead fish to bring in the sharks...and well, I guess that's how it ended. Once he died the Reachman turned to the other galleons and weren't no place for a mere galley captain like me to help. They were supposed to be enemies," he said, as though he couldn't believe anyone would find the Iron Fleet more dangerous.

Killion gritted his teeth as the captain told his tale, stone-faced as he described the carnage that befell such a sizable portion of his fleet. He swore his uncle would be avenged, but at least took some small comfort that he was feasting in the Drowned God's Hall now.
He ordered his fleet to finish what Harlaw had started. They sailed for the shields, sending out scouting vessels to search for sign or word on where Redwyne's Fleet had gone after the battle.

At the Shields, the encounter a great host of ships, and two burning castles, but no Arbor Fleet. Greyshield and Southshield remain untouched, and Oakenshield seems to be holding out.

Killon signals that he wishes a word with the leaders of the fleets, picking out the banners of his father, Farwynd, and Saim.

Uhtred comes directly from the storming of Oakenshield. His armor is slightly battered, and there is blood on his fur, yet his axe is clean and already sharpened. The man is big, his lower face hidden by a harsh braided beard. His grey-blue eyes are tired as he pulls himself up onto the deck of the King Harrens Revenge. He is dressed plainly, armor under a gray fur lined cloak. No rings decorate his finger, nor is there any gold on him, his axe the only accessory he has. "I am Uhtred."

Quentyn arrives, looking cheerful. Gone was the finery he'd worn at Riverrun, he merely sported his armor and weapons.

Ragnar was present as well, armed and armoured, Red Rain at his side.

Uhtred faces the two captains squarely, glancing back as the other ships move in to what was now a captains conference. He leans on his greataxe like a cane "You know me, let me know you now." he says to the two "I've... been away from the Isles for awhile."

"Drumm of Old Wyk," Ragnar said, touching the pommel of his blade as he did so. "Well met, my lord."

Harwyn let out a laugh as he stepped in, crossing his arms. He bore no new wounds or blood, indicating the failure at Lannisport. "Clearly you've made your return well known."
