Benjen poured her a glass of wine himself, one of a few he had taken from the host. "Breeches suit you, Cassana."

Another arched eyebrow. "Thank you, I guess. Most men prefer their princesses in silk and dresses, I hear." She sips from the glass, tasting it. "On to business, though."

"Business, of course," Benjen said, pouring himself some wine and drinking. He'd have gone with being more charming but it seemed Cassana was someone who was on point. "A marriage alliance between the two of us, as King Sirius has no doubt informed you."

"To what end?" she said. "My brother sent me here to meet you and discuss the finer points of this. We're fighting Vhagus, Old Volantis, and our peace with New Ghis balances on the razor's edge at the best of times. Westeros, so far as I can tell, has been primarily chaos for three years now."

"A chaos that I am trying to end," Benjen said firmly. "With Bryce Dayne dead, unity in Westeros can be achieved. Thus, house Targaryen will have a strong ally, albeit one who is... admittedly distant."

"Then you plan on taking the Iron Throne?" Cassana asked. "Reform the Seven Kingdoms?"

"Between you and me? Yes," Benjen responded. "Not an easy thing to achieve but the current circumstances make it possible."

Cassana looks a bit curious at that. "Interesting. How ambitious of you." She leans back. "What do you want from my brother?"

"You and Rhaegys," Benjen said, raising his glass. "Not all of the time of course, as I can only imagine the impact your dragon will have on both enemies and allies. Intimidation and what not."

"It always comes down to the dragons," she said a bit wearily. "You do know we have Vhagus as an enemy, yes? Who has a dragon that is already far larger, more aggressive, and even more socially pleasant?"

"I am very aware of Vhagus Blackfyre," Benjen responded. "I was planning ways to fight the man while hardly anyone knew what he was about. No, Rhaegys I really only need Rhaegys to deal with Bryce Dayne's abomination."

"So I'm a rental, then?" She said. "Why do you think I'm yet a maiden, Prince Benjen?"

Benjen grinned. "Because you've not found someone yet who can prove to be your equal?" He drank deep from his wine. "How about it, you and I, in the yard? Unless you don't want to get into armour again."

"Plenty of men can beat me in the yard. I hope beating women doesn't give you Pleasure," she said. "I am free to pick my own husband because Rhaegys only really likes me." She stares at him. "But I would help with this necromanced anyway."

"Not pleasure, but I like a woman who can hold her own," Benjen replied, swilling his wine around. "But it is good to know that you would help against this abomination." He narrowed his eyes. "Evidently they don't make the men you like in the east."
