"Not bad. You all here for the wedding?" Dud asks as he goes to play another round. "I'm Dudley Mudd, but everyone calls me Dud."

"Mudd? The hell kinda name is that?" one says. More silver is won and lost. "Sounds like some ancestor owes you an apology."

Dud laughs at the mans comment. "Not the most flashy name, but an ancient one." Dud explains "Old extinct riverlands noble house, well used to be extinct." Dud grins

"Used to be, because I'm bringing the house back." Dud explains as he leans back in his chair. "You'll see, house Mudd will be prominent again."

The men all have a good laugh at that. "And where's yer castle gonna be, Lord Mudd?" they ask.

"Somewhere in the Northern kingdom. I'm hoping Riverlands to keep things the same. I haven't really worked out the details yet, not saying it'll be done in a day. But I'll get one." Dud replies with his mind fantasizing about having his own keep.

Everyone just shakes their heads. "Well, good luck...Lord Mudd." He now has a title, apparently.

Jaymes was seated among some of his bannerlords the evening after the melee, drinking ale and listening to the bard sing a song bordering on bawdy.

Korben winced a bit as he rubbed a spot where Prince Benjen had struck him hard, walking into the hall to metaphorically "lick his wounds" after the melee. "Damn man fought like a beast." He commented, remembering how he'd held off practically everyone throughout the melee and won. Had to admit, he was somewhat glad to not be fighting against that man now. Even the ironborn, despite Korben's feelings, had done well and done right in the fight by him.
"Oh well, nothing some wine won't fix." he said aloud with a smirk, feeling like having a celebratory toast for at least getting to fight against two royals without dying, or loosing his other eye, in a tourney. His eye glanced towards one of the tables and spotted many of the men he'd rode in with, plus one other who he knew well.
"My lord." Korben said with a smirk and a bow of his head, walking towards the table and taking his seat, "I hope the evenings been treating you well." He said as he looked for a untaken cup of ale to drink.

"Ah, Korben!" Jaymes greeted, waving at a man to slide over a mug of ale to Kenning. "Here to tend to your bruises?" he assumed good-naturedly. To tell the truth, he was impressed the man would even fight in melees after having lost his eye in one. "It's a good thing you took part. I thought it was odd there were more Ironborn in the ring than there were us westerners. And at our wedding!"

"Well, Glad at least I could represent our people." Korben said with a laugh as he accepted the ale, taking a drink and wipe his mouth on his sleeve, too tired to care about proper decorum, "I just wish I could have lasted longer. That stark prince, he fight's like a damned bear." He said with a chuckle.

"That he did," Jaymes was forced to agree. "Once the joust is done, we can stop abusing poor Tully's hospitality and march down to deal with Tyrell. I can count on you, I hope?" he inquired.

"Of course, my lord. I've no love for those who pledge their aid, and give none when called." Korben said, referring to the reach's noticeable absence during long stretches of the goldlands alliance. "It'll be good to savor this luxury, before it is gone for a while." He said, knowing there likely wouldn't be much time for fine drink and good meals during their skirmish with the reach. "Though who knows, perhaps we'll have more fine drink then we know what to do with, when we march down and teach them a lesson. I hear arbor wine is quite good, even at this time a year." He said smirking, finding the joke quite amusing.

"Well, it's always warm at the Arbor," replied Jaymes with the hint of a smile. "But I think you are not too far off with those predictions. I can't wait to join my step-brother on the field again." He was of course talking about Ser Tomas Serrett, who some of the meaner folk had began calling the False Lion for some reason. "But before that, I suppose there's the joust. You'll be joining of course? I remember you having quite the steady hand with a lance."
