The modest sept of Mason Keep, where the High Septon has taken up residence for the duration of the turney, along with his escort of Warrior's Sons. A white pavillion has been erected next to it, for the use of Ser Ghaston the Grey and his holy knights. It bears a rainbow sword upon a black shield, the sigil of the Warrior's Sons.

Ser Ghaston stood vigil in the sept as the High Septon led a service for the faithful. For a moment the old knight was reminded of the early years of their friendship, travelling the roads from sept to sept guarding Warren as he preached the word of the Seven. Those were simpler times, unlike now where Warren was more politician than priest and Ghaston more general than protector.
As the sermon ended and the faithful approached High Septon Warren for blessings, Ser Ghaston moved close to his side. He was garbed in the attire of his station; hair shirt, silver inlaid plate armor, and rainbow cloak. The crystal in the pommel of his longsword reflected the sunlight streaming through the windows in a rainbow of light.

After the blessings, a young man approaches him; handsome, tall, with impeccable posture, but he is less than half Ser Ghaston's age now if he had to guess. His cloak is light purple, and he kneels before the famed knight. "Ser, I am Markus Dayne, and I wished to say that tales of your deeds inspired me when I was seeking to earn the right to bear Dawn."

"Rise, Ser Markus." Ghaston intoned, a warm smile permeating the Knight-Commander's usual dour countenance. "One need only kneel before the Seven."

"Indeed, Marshal Ghaston. I merely wished to express my admiration for your devotion to spreading the Faith through deeds and good works, rather than merely words which can be spun by any charlatan. Is it true you once stormed a holdfast with only seven men to rescue the Lady Laniel Broom from the Cornfield bandits?" His voice is eager, but with just enough skepticism to convince the elder knight thta Ser Markus understands the probability that he had heard an exaggeration.

Ser Ghaston chuckled, always amused at hearing the tall tales that seemed to arise from his adventures.
"Nay, it was was seven of my knights that were left standing after the bandits were slain. Lady Laniel seemed to think that a favorable portent from the Gods. I saw it as a lesson to lose less the next time. "

Ser Markus nods. "That makes much more sense. Faith is good, but faith backed by the good sense the Seven gave us is much better. But, my sister, Lady Ellaria." A beautiful golden haired girl curtsies somewhat nervously.
'Marshal Ghaston."

Ser Ghaston gave a short bow to the young lady.
"A vision of the maiden herself." he said, the warm smile remaining on his face. "It does an old knight good to see the young in these hallowed halls. The pews have been too empty as of late."

"Not in Dorne," the young knight says confidently. "We remember the Seven there."
Ellaria smiles and blushes in a charmingly innocent manner. "Thank you ser."

"As all their children should." Ghaston grumbled. "Surrounded by fools that worship fire, water, and trees it is good to be reminded that some sense still remains."

"By the word or by the sword." he said gruffly. "Will you be participating in the tourney, Ser Markus?"

'Oh, yes; the people deserve to see the best Dorne can offer, and I am among them." He said matter-of-factly. "Will the Warrior's Sons have a champion?"

"I am not yet too old to sit ahorse." he said with the bravado of a younger man. "I cannot imagine Ser Garret Redwyne missing a chance to show these heathens up either."

"Excellent! It will be an honor riding against you!" Markus nods. Ellaria beams.
"I bet you will win again, like when I was a little girl!"
