The one that is up is only to bridge the 1 year gap between Arc 1 and 2! I think usually we didn't do scenarios.

Scenarios aren't required, I just think a well written one can be fun to read and open up some possibilities on player actions.

They were optional and rare in this game, typically to fill in story gaps. Not like LoW where folks just wrote out training fights to level up their sword skill. I actually still have a half written prequel one detailing Oriaxs' time in Yunkai and what happened to his first apprentice.

i write them once in a while when an idea really interests me. i think most of the time people don't like doing them.
I would prefer to get points from completing objectives and rp arcs. If I remember right, a game did that before. It incentivizes people to get off their butts to rp and do things.

apprenticing in skills: if my guy wants to learn to be an accomplished raider (for example) can i get points or knowledge to that skill if i raid with a group successfully over time? or say, a leader shows me how its done? I want my guy to roleplay and develop into the role instead of starting with the skills. If my guy is smart and has a natural talent for something, skills should be gained faster in certain areas. It always bothered me that I really had to focus into certain skills and couldn't explore others unless i wanted to spend 10 years advancing it through scenarios

Reminder: just because I'm not on doesn't mean you can't post. I'll get to it. You can also message me if you need an idea on where to start an rp at to accomplish something.

So is this game just starting back up after being on pause for 4 years, or has anything changed? I don't remember literally anything about this game or the characters we played. Is this the one where I was Dornish?

Starting back after just over two years with Arc 2. This is the one with all the magic. Uh, what else... the Daynes are bad guys.

I think you were Dornish yeah. Dondy was Dondy. Zack was Sean Connery!
