As the guards start clearing the streets, the man looks mildly irritated. He looks about and empties his glass onto the ground, and as he does, it steams and bubbles and expands, more and more, becoming a red-hued mist that is thicker than any fog Killion has ever seen. It starts a fair panic, as the fog comes complete with a hissing sound, like it's boiling even as it expands, but no one seems hurt by it.

Alarmed as the supernatural red mist spread, Killion drew his blades, holding Nightfall out before him and the other blade in a defensive revese-grip. He looked to Amelia expectantly.

He hears screams of panic and pain as the magicians are apparently on the offensive. After about six seconds a severed...no...tipped off arm sails past him. The Reapers hold firm but the clear edge these beings have has everyone on edge.

Not one to hide behind bodyguards, Killion charged into the fray towards the abominations, blades flashing. At least if he got torn to shreds, Amelia would have no shortage of fuel.
Dual Swords 105 (115 with Nightfall) Full Plate Shield (From Ability)
Riposte: Using two swords gives Prince Killion the benefits of a shield. He also counters the first hit he is dealt, inflicting a -10 to his opponent while suffering the effects of the blow himself.
Master Duelist: Riposte now prevents 10 damage from the first attack suffered in addition to its normal effects, and it ignores damage reduction. Every round of a fight that ends in no hit gives Killion a stacking +5 bonus to the next round's roll.
Nightfall: Valyrian Steel Longsword

"No!!!" Amelia cried out as she watched Killion run into the thick. "Don't charge them! They'll rip you to pieces!!"
She tried to make out the demons in the thick of people and mist, rushing after Killion. "At least give me blood!!!"

Killion glared back at his saltwife. She would likely pay for that outburst later. It was bad for morale.
"Can't be any worse than that sandwyrm or that fucking god." he replied, though cut his palm open with Nightfall, the spot likely beginning to scar now from regular reopening. Then he charged back in.

It actually can be much worse, as it turns out. The magicians in the ever-expanding blood cloud, which grows larger as they kill, are near invisible, and Killion has little choice but to hack at near every movement he sees. Four people die to his strokes before the mist dissipates. The square is in pandemonium, people running every which way, guards having stabbed another dozen or so trying to hit the wizards, and the pair are nowhere to be seen.

Amelia knew that she couldn't trust her eyes so she tried to sense where her enemies were. Should she locate them she would launch a ball of fire at them, drawing on Killion's blood.

He picks their presence up all around, apparently the mist contained some of their blood too. She swears she sees the woman running back to the bazaar though. She is quite large to miss.

Amelia grit her teeth and decided that she would be no use if she wasn't able to see her attacker. She rushed off towards the bazaar, hoping to be able to catch up with her.

Killion followed close behind, leaving his guards to sort out the chaos and hold a perimeter.

The woman runs a long while, far past a normal human's endurance, and then she turns into the wrong alley and Killion can catch up. Amelia is nowhere in the physical condition necessary for the run, and she is following gamely but still at least a full minute behind.

As she tries to catch up with them Amelia tries to look through the shadows to keep an eye on what is happening in the alley.

Killion followed doggedly, adrenaline pushing him forward as he chased the woman...if that was what she really was.

He turns the corner and the lady is there, grinning, a hand covered in blood from an innocent alleyway bystander. "Your Grace," she bowed. "My husband and I are very sorry to interrupt your day. I was hoping you could kindly take your leave and we shall never return to Tyrosh? We got what we came for," she said. "Anything else would just be being greedy." Killion feels a shadow fall over him as the male magician looks at him from the rooftops. He is covered in blood as well.
