Ilvar crushes wagons and fire and death and confusion reign supreme. For a time he is as a god, but these mortals specifically have killed gods. He scatters hundreds and the fires burn. The cold air weakens him a bit but nothing he cannot handle as he flies. Hundreds die in his assault, but as he continues circling to inflict his reign of chaos he feels the dragon's massive will straining to be free. He's well and truly fucked over thousands though, who will have a hell of a time surviving the winter cold. He fights for control and the massive body slams back to earth as they wage war for control. Fury goes back and forth and Ilvar continues feeling the strange pounding in his mind. He's never before attempted anything half so dramatic, a tenth so dramatic, and his attention is almost entirely focused on staying in the dragon's mind as opposed to operating it for now.

Kalvin gives his wife a hug. "What a time. You all right..." he looks at her wound. "You won't believe what we did." Vhagus smiles with thin lips and frowns. "My..dragon." He rushes off. Robyn looks after vhagus "You'll have to tell me later... I think something is wrong," She took off after the emperor. They all exit the cavern to see some sort of carnage erupting. Drogon is circling about, roasting the fuck out of everything, and then he seems to just...forget how to fly as he plummets to the ground. Vhagus narrows his eyes with rage. "Drogon!" He shouts, racing for the giant writhing wyrm. Robyn and the others see dozens of camps burning. The devastation is vast.

I am Ilvar! I live on the winds on destiny! I exist here and there and below and beyond! I slew the Usurper! I am the Faithful!
Ilvar railed against his prison, attempting to erode the walls with what remained of his will. He had had his vengeance, but there was so much more he could do... He could destroy the Wall. He could nest in Winterfell, seat of his ancient oppressors, and raze Eddard's Rest. And then wherever they chose to flee to... Ilvar was not done. The South would burn. Like bonfires in the night..

Ilvar feels the dragon reasserting itself as he tries to take flight again. He is being forced from the dragon's mind and he seeks a place to return to restore his strength. Unfortunately he just ate it for dinner.
He loses control for now, and loses 10 every day he remains in Drogon's mind. Once he gets to -50 he dies.

Robyn gasped as she saw what was happening, so much death... what could man do against such reckless hate?
She hears Vhagus yell and it brings her out of just staring at the chaos and runs after him again. "Why is Drogon attacking us?" she wanted to ask if it was him, but she guessed from his reaction it was not his doing... had Drogon gone rogue... without vhagus there? "What's going on?" She asked him as she sprinted after him, heading towards the field of fire and death, which seemed ill advised.

Nymos looks to the destruction with a shock, the red steel spear a crutch as he surveys what's happened. "No...no, no, no, No, NO!" Nymos says as the last words come out as a scream, shaking his head as he looks, "The camps...the supplies...We're so far up north that...we can't..."
Whether it is blood loss, fatigue, or the joy turning to ash in his mouth, nymos begins to crack as he sees what could be their only means of survival in this harsh land and the trek back go up in literal flames. He looks towards Vhargus, a slowly growing anger on his face as he begins to visibly shake, despair turning to anger as he figures out who is most likely to blame for the beast they choose to bring.

Vhagus approaches his fallen reptile and looks it over. Some soldiers are approaching it with spears and swords drawn, but none are willing to challenge it yet. The emperor frowns and leans over to the beast. From the distance he is away what he's saying can't be heard, but Ilvar feels a rush of power surging closer and closer. A thousand men died in the fires and carnage, and the dragonlord looks about over the camp as the cry goes out against him, then he climbs aboard his giant winged beast and takes to the air, the giant dragon flying much more uncertainly after its fall.

After Vhagus and Drogon left, Robyn looked after them for a long moment, then went about trying to help the wounded, and gain some kind of order... if it were possible. She was not sure what had happened.
In reality, in this weather the most gravely wounded were probably most in need of a quick death...

She dispenses what must be done and Kalvin tries to restore order. It is a long time coming as the army knits abck together. "We need to head south now," he said. "No time to wait."

"I agree," Robyn says with a nod to her husband, "A lot of us... probably won't make it now the supplies have gone..." She said, with a oddly passive tone.
"Is Riley still with us? She should stay with us if she is... people might mean her ill after..." she shakes her head, the weight of it not having set in yet.

"After the the emporer and his dragon sentenced us to death?" Nymos asks as he limps towards the group, having regretted not arriving sooner to give Vhagus what he felt was a just payment for his acts, "After his beast destroyed our supplies and left us to die up here." He said as he motions to the direction Vhagus flew off to.
"I know she is innocent in all of this...but if the men feel what I do right now...you would do well to keep her safe." He said with his eyes narrowing at robin, anger laced with each word as he fashioned what would have to pass as proper bandages and wrappings for his side and leg, hoping the cold didn't claim them.

Robyn looked round, "thank you for echoing what I just fucking said" she replied, venom in her voice at Nymos tone. "Save your energy for walking, leave worrying about our men to us. Don't you think there's been enough death already today?"

Riley frowned. "Clearly he didn't intend on that happening!" she said. "He couldn't have killed all of you a hundred times before now...or just never come in the first place! Use your damn brains!" she shouted. Kalvin frowned as she shouted, but shrugged.
"I hate to admit it but she has a point. Lord Qorgyle, seems you're next in rank after me for the moment. And if not...well, fuck it you are now. Help me gather the men. We need to move south immediately. Every hour will have people dying until we find the next shipment wagons." He turned to Robyn. "Talk to him," he whispered.

"One more wouldn't hurt. Two, if we're lucky..." Nymos said as he looked back to Robyn, "Depends on if you count a dragon as 1 life or not." He stated as he looked to the men slowly being pulled back into line, "It would have meant the death of us though...hopefully, I won't be wishing for it, by the end of our journey."

Robyn glared at Riley "Don't shout at me, I know he didn't do this" she snapped and looked at Nymos, "No one is killing anyone, it's survival right now, and that's all we need to be concentrating on"
She looked at Kalvin, "We need to work with the Ironborn now, without their king, they'll need to follow one of their own, I think their commander is still here... Melark? Malek..."
She paused and looked at him, and lowered her voice, "Talk to who?"
