Riley is looking about, limping a bit. "This is the first of them," she said. "The first Other. Trapped in here." She points to the base of the altar. "I'm reading it, I didn't just know that." She frowned. "Hopefully the last of them, now."

"That would be helpful" Robyn admitted, "If there were none left... then we'd not have to worry about them" She conceded, and helped Riley move around. "Should we pull the plug?"

Anachronisms aside, Riley nods. "Yes, let's do that." She touches her blood and wipes it on Robyn's obsidian blade, and the black glass superheats. "The honor is yours," she winks.

"You're too kind. If this kills me, I'll never forgive you" She only half joked and swung the dragonglass blade at the corpse.

The blade cuts through the armor and tomb and shatters in her hand as it passes through the creature. It shudders then is still. Riley grinned. "fun times." The chamber starts to rattle. "What is...they did it! Or they failed really badly!" she said. "That's the passing of the cocoon!"

"The passing?" Robyn said, looking back towards the tunnel they had come from. "Is this whole place coming down? Either way, I guess we should not linger here...."

Nymos crawled his way over to the fallen warriors red steel spear, grabbing it as he levels it to help himself stand. He winces as he does so, the pain from the stab to his side and leg agony as he tries to bear it, making it to his feet as the shaking starts.
"Is it over?" He asks weakly, looked between the two and what they had done, "Please...for seven's sake, tell me it's over."

"I think so," she said, as they head back to the main chamber. A couple people are jetted out of the cocoon before it sucks in on itself and vanishes. Vhagus wipes himself off.
"Well, that was fun."

Robyn looks to vhagus and smiled, "I am glad you thought so... and you can tell us all about it when we get out of here..." She looks around for her husband.

Ilvar, after giving strange growling chuckle, turned and began gorging himself on his old body. It taste wrong, raw in a way that would not have bothered his body... perhaps... Yes, his lungs felt ifferently... he breathed, holding the body between his jaws like spears... He felt his wn skin fry upon his yongue...
I taste so sweet...
Then he chewed and swallowed his last means of being driven from this body. The skinchanger was no more. Ilvar the Faithful was here to stay.

Kalvin gives his wife a hug. "What a time. You all right..." he looks at her wound. "You won't believe what we did." Vhagus smiles with thin lips and frowns. "My..dragon." He rushes off.

He isn't near at home with this draconic form yet, but he feels the power at his command, if he can force it to work. He also feels a rush as the strange presence from the sorcerer that had earlier opposed him returns. For now though, he is two hundred feet long and winged, with fiery breath.

"You've killed the thing for good?" Nymos asks as he limps after he group, doing a surprisingly good job at keeping up with the others despite one 1 good leg. As he surveys the group, he counts up those who have emerged, his face going from wonder to solemn as he speaks.
"Where's the rest of your group? The ones who went in..." He asks as he looks around, noticing some who weren't there.

Ilvar formed a simply but delicious plan in his massive skull. He moved his arms, lifting himself up. A lifetime in the clouds made it feel natural, but it was still new and different.
He turned in the air and turned to face the supply wagons, his second sacrifice to his new power.
A final eulogy for the Great Old Ones. A final winter for the heathens.
He inhaled and exhaled death upon the wagons, along with hopefully famine, plague, and a last attempt at war.
Burning shit ?
