If Riley could see Robyn she would see her looking vaguely nauseous. Spiders.... disgusting. "Can you tell how many?" Robyn asked her, trying to listen still, "just the one?" there was more hope in her voice than anything.

Nymos had decided to stay out of the cocoon, giving a nod and a salute to those who entered into it as he stayed to cover their escape. He turned to look to the other two, looking forward as he overheard them, "Where is it? I'll lance the bastard now." He says in determination.

Riley looks about. The skittering continues. As Nymos turns to look to the two the spiders comes skittering. One is huge, horse-sized, and the other three are more like big dogs.

Nymos heard the skittering grow louder, looking between the two as he freezes. His eyes wide, he turns around to look at what's come, his spear moving into a defensive stance as he looks at the massive spider with a shaking head.
"...You've got to be kidding me..." He said as he gets ready for another fight.

Robyn concentrates on the bigger spider, and then rushes forward to attack.

So long as the spider was dead, Robyn went over to Riley and tried to help her up. "are you alright?" She asked, with obvious concern.

Riley is shivering hard, but she nods. "I'll..." teeth chattering, "be fine. Blood....like...ice." She wanders on over to the magma to warm up a bit. Robyn sees the boxes about, and a small tunnel leading down.

'you can stay here to get warm if you like" Robyn says to her, not wanting to pull her away from a heat source, all things considering. "I'll let you know if I find anything." She said, starting to move towards the boxes, just in case, to search them,

The boxes are locked but two are cracked enough to open. One is full of weird books in an unfamilair language, preserved by cold and dry, and the other has some really old weapons, royal swords and axes and spears plated with famed house symbols on them. Some are probably thousands of years old. She also sees a leather bound book with the weapons but it is actually written in antiquated but legible Westerosi. She swears she hears more skittering but it isn't loud.

Nymos looked to riley as she went towards the lava, turning to look to where robyn went. "Call out if you hear or see anything. ." He said to riley, before he went to join robyn.
He approached from behind, catching sight of the contents of the chests with curiosity, "What are those? And why are there so many banners?" He asked aloud, almost like another force had been up here long ago.

"supposedly this is chest loot of thousands of years, of all those skeletons we saw before us." Robyn explained, trying to marry together what they had seen before. She checks over some of the weapons in case any of them seemed particularly special, Valyrian steel or something like that.

No Valyrian steel, but there is something decidedly odd about the weapons, made of old black iron, unmixed with coke. Riley makes her way over after a minute or so. "We need to keep exploring. Anything useful in there?"
