"Bout time we started having some." Killion chuckled, making his way to Vhagus as the others rushed into hell. "So what's the plan here sorcerers?" he asked Riley, Vhagus, and Nick; feeling that if the three only people here that knew anything about the arcane had decided not to enter, it had been for good reason.

Vhagus shrugged at Robyn. "I mean, it's an extradimen...you know what, nevermind. There's a giant evil god in there. I didn't think everyone would be so eager." He looks about the chamber. "I was hoping there was more than one entrance." Ragnar feels lightheaded but holds his stomach in somehow, and he is looking at billions of himself and the other heroes circling about. It seems the whole universe here is just copy after copy of them. Benjen can approach the fighters but never quite seems to reach them. They all see a strange tree though, that everything is almost orbiting. It is all tentacles and leaves amde of steel and weirdness, and changes appearance every time it is glimpsed again.
Nick and Riley start heading for the entrance. Vhagus sighs. "Well, I was going to wait. But I guess our plan is now to find the god, fight the god, kill the god. The dimension is going to vastly increase your abilities," he said. "Latent or otherwise."

Crowl stares at his face shocked. He never knew he was that ruggedly handsome with all the scars accentuating his face. "Better go find this thing then so we can finish this."

RAgnar took a purposeful step forward towards the strange tree. It was the strangest thing he had ever seen and though he didn't think it looked remotely godlike - he'd always imagined the Drowned God looked rather human - it clearly had to be investigated. He kept out of reach though and watched to see how the tree behaved.

Benjen stops when he realizes he can't reach himself and instead looks to the tree. It was a horrible thing, all tentacles flapping about but he knew it must be important somehow. With his sword in his hand he stepped forward slowly to see if he could get to the tree.

"More than one entrance to what?" She asked, feeling a bit stupid, for a couple of reasons, his need to dumb things down for her and then her asking dumb questions.

"Elmangoreth," he said. "Their god. I do believe he is seeking to escape his little prison. But, honestly, I'm not an expert on this either." He looked about. "And it would appear I'll be needed in there. They must have a summoning area close by." He looks about. "Riley, find it. Destroy it."

Killion sighed and headed in with Riley and Nick, hoping the sorcerers would keep anything steel could not kill at bay. The tentacles made him uneasy, the king unsure he could ever look at his sigil the same way again. He had a disquieting thought that maybe this was his god. It was well known the Ironborn were descended from the First Men. Perhaps they had been worshippers of this creature and myth and oral tradition had made it the Drowned God over generations. After all, what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.

Robyn looked at Vhagus, "Good luck, I'll search some of the area around the cavern, no sense everyone defeating this God only to be picked off when they come out." She said, with a tone of regret, she sheathed her sword and drewher bow, in case anything came out of the dark at her. "Get it a few times for me..." she said and went about searching the cavern.

Riley smiles. "Be nice to have some company," she said to Robyn. Kalvin kisses her and whispers something in her ear before he steps off to beat some god ass. The women wander about the dark cavern, Riley with a pale blue orb of cold fire that wanders about to light the way for them. "He better not have just sent me to do this so I wouldn't get hurt," she grumbles. "But I bet there's treasure here!"

"If he has, you should probably take it as good than bad" Robyn said, looking at her briefly then back at the cocoon.
After that she looks around, "There may well be some, I am sure you can take what you like, with any luck soon that God will be dead and won't much miss it.
She briefly scours the place for treasure, and other such things. Treasure was not really her primary focus as making sure there were no other beasties in their immediate environment.

She sees a couple of black stone...armoires? that are locked, and some are cracked. There's chests and such too. The women hear rattling coming from about. "Sounds like we have company," she whispered. They can't see anything yet.

Ilvar was well-known as a cannibal, but to eat the flesh of the dead was only a material contrivance of his role. The true prey of a skinchanger was the minds of the living, a much more insidious hunt that even Ilvar himself could ever fully comprehend. Like the wolf or the owl, Ilvar did not know what hand made him thusly, though he imagined he did. Beneath the rotting meat and bird shit and thin visage was a true hunter, stalking the space between men's souls. The man called Ilvar could best be understood not as a holy warrior, but as the carriage by which a certain type of divine wrath manifests upon this world. Ilvar imagined a carriage that flew and breathed death and acted with the will and intelligence of a man. He did not expect his first form to survive should he claim his prize. In fact, he was learning to accept the idea he may never again sleep with a woman (An overrated experience) or discuss ecclesiatical matters with heathens (a distraction surely.) No, he would live the rest of his days on burnt meat and without the delights that torture men and women. But he would remain Ilvar. Yes. And Ilvar would please his gods greatly regardless. Skinchanging 102 (Feel free to hold off on the actual roll until an appropriate moment.) 117 Drogon is still too fresh off victory and his feasting to be easily taken over, but Ilvar's power and familiarity is growing. Every day he'll get +5 to his next roll.

Robyn shoulders her now and draws her sword, if they cannot see it, it is likely going to be too close to get a shot off in time.
She is quiet and tries to hear which direction the scuttling is coming from.

In the echo chamber it's tough, but the creature is fast. Riley looks about. She sends her coldfire far away so it doesn't draw attention to them. "It'll show itself soon," she said, more to herself. "I'm glad you're here." The skittering gets louder, an impossible amount of legs moving on the rock. "Spider..."
