Four days after everyone leaves to face Oroax, a great cloud rolls over the horizon, blotting out the sun. The wind blows from the north, cold and brutal on the bare Wall. All along the massive structure the armies huddle with the first real traces of fear as it is no longer possible to see the ground from the Wall due to the darkness encompassing everything.

Robyn stands on the top of the wall, looking out into the black. Looking for any kind of light or sign through the black cloud. This was clearly magical. What's more terrifying than fighting when you can barely see. With her she had her normal sword, her bow, with fires both for penetration and fire arrows to use if she could find a fire, and the dragonglass small blade she had found on the ship.
She was nervous, her cloak wrapped all the way round her to try and keep out the chill as much as possible.

Julia walks up to her, a bow slung over her shoulder. She frowns. This is what he did before he attacked us," she said. "Before anyone even knew who the grey Man was. The sun...vanished, and his hordes came pouring from the hills like locusts." She shivered. "And it's getting colder now."

Benjen stood atop the Wall with them, staring down at the strange blackness that had encompassed their surroundings.

Titus had gone up to the top of the wall just to have a look about. He cursed himself for his stupidity, for coming north at all when he despised the cold. He was already shivering and was just about to make his way back down to the castle when the darkness fell. He cursed under his breath, carefully wandering, convinced that any little step would lead to a seven hundred foot plunge. He thought he heard voices, so he made for them and soon he could barely make out the dim shapes of men. He moved closer cautiously, not wishing to intrude, but very much looking for the way back down.

Benjen spotted the dark figure walk towards them, noticing he looked like he was lost.
"Can I help you?" Benjen asked, not really seeing who he was talking to. There was a torch nearby but its light was dim in the blackness.

"It's dark," Titus said flatly, through chattering teeth. "Point me to the way down and I'd be a greateful man."

"Just when all the best fighters leave" Robyn shook her head, "It would be funny, if it were not sort of, an obvious trap." She looked into the blackness. "Was it cloud like this that fell before you were attacked? I take it we should be preparing?"

"The stairs should be somewhere over there," Benjen said, pointing behind him. Then he paused. "Do I know you? Who is that?" He leaned in to see who he was talking to. The voice was familiar.

"Doubtful, friend. I just got here yesterday. Came to take the black, but when I got here it was already taken," he said as he slowly shuffled his way towards where the man had pointed him.

I think htis is a statement," she said. "He is proclaiming his kingdom. He'll be ready soon."

Benjen grabbed the torched and walked besides Titus. "Might want some light if you're going to find the stairs." He looked up at him, eyes narrowing. "I know you!"

Titus took a step back. "Might be the dark, my lord. Playing it's tricks. You'd have made an impression on me, more so than the other way round, if you take my meaning. Think I'd remember that day."

Benjen shook his head. "Under that beard... you were in the Vale with me. A damn good swordsman. I don't forget the people who fight an abomination made of blood with me. Titus Grafton."

"Maybe they don't want to get up here..." Robyn said, still looking at the cloud. "How are we supposed to do anything in this cloud, we can barely see in front of us" she mumbled and looked down, "Perhaps we should send some scouts out... see what is happened on the other side."
