Maekar let out a snort,"If only it was that easy. They don't eat, they don't sleep, and they feel no fear." "Fear can be a good thing to have." Dud answered. "No need for eating or sleeping is quite the obstacle though." "Lucky for us, they don't procreate, and fire is quite adequate at destroying them."

"Fear can be a good thing to have." Dud answered. "No need for eating or sleeping is quite the obstacle though." "Lucky for us, they don't procreate, and fire is quite adequate at destroying them." "Good old fire." Dud said as he took a seat back on the rock from earlier. His head was still slightly ringing from the hit. "Undead people aren't so bad. Did you fight against Bryce Dayne? Now he had an undead dragon."

Maekar shook his head,"I was on bed rest, after Rycherd's revolt." He point to his hair, and throat,"Both are an unfortunate side effect from that part of the war."

Dud nodded solemnly to the scars. Dud thought back to all of the warring that seemed as though it just happened. "It seems as though we are always at war. Peace time practically gets skipped right over."

Cassana frowned. "I don't know. Vhagus sent two sorceresses her. He sent nothing for Bryce Dayne. He is more concerned than he looks, Amelia. Even if he acts flippant." "Coming here was my idea, though Vhagus didn't offer too much resistance," Amelia stated. "Nevertheless, he kept his dragons to himself. Even one could prove a massive difference." "Drogon is the only adult he has," she said. "The juveniles are more likely to feed his armies than help. They are far more fragile than you may think. I've written my brother for Rhaegys but I hear rumors his madness ha returned."

"Anything that flies and breaths fire would be useful right now," Amelia told her. "I do not imagine they would feel the cold this far north."

"You saw what Bryce did to Rhaegys. Oriax is far stronger than that," she said. "I will ask him, but since I'm we'd now my list of persuasive offers is rather more limited than it was,@ she sighed. "If we finish him off here then none of it matters."

"We won't," Amelia said with a shake of her head. "He knows we are coming so he is prepared. Likely some, if not all of us, will die and then the Wall is without most of its best swordsmen."

Cassana frowned. "Then we need to make him move away from his spot. You know him better than anyone alive," she said. "What would lure him from where he feels comfortable?"

"I know he wants to crush his enemies and see them driven before him - to hear the lamentation of the women," Amelia said. "He wishes the end of all life and perhaps... I know he wants me dead, so perhaps I can be bait."

Cassana frowns. "I still can't make any sense of his plan," she admits. "Does he hate you enough to come for you?"

"Maybe, I'm not sure," Ami stated. "He always underestimated me but I think I showed him that I was a viable threat when we thought. And yes, I find it as confusing as you do."

The rest of the group is talking in different circles. Cassana leaned back. "If he bleeds we can kill him, and so maybe your first fight did draw out his anger." She shook her head. "It just seems odd to me, I guess. I've heard he was overpoweringly arrogant." She smiled. "But he has no friends down here, and we will kill him."

"I will see if I can think of something to draw him out but right now I am stumped," Amelia responded, rising. "I think I need a walk - my legs are all cramped up." She took a step then paused, turning back to Cassana.
"I'll be back."

Cassana won't be given that she is headed to her own tent.
