Amelia keeps mostly to herself, setting up her tent at the side of the camp. There were many, many things going through her head.

Maekar looked around the clearing, and set up camp not far from Amelia. He had a bit trouble at first, setting up his tent, since becoming Lord his servants did these things, and he was a bit rusty.

Dud set up his tent, and marked out an area for training. If he was going to fight some crazy magic wielding masked dude, he was going to make sure his skills were sharp. He sat down on a rock and took a whetstone to his sword.

After struggling with his tent, the Lord of Highgarden was slightly annoyed. He saw Mudd sharpening his sword, and walked up,"Just making it pretty, or looking for a bit of practice before the real thing?"

Dud looked up with a smile, after seeing the Lord struggle with his tent. "My little training area you mean?" Dud replied. "I had some spare time after throwing up my tent so quickly, advantage of not being nobility for very long I guess." Dud stands up and stretches. "But yes, I made the area in case anyone wants to practice. Nothing too violent, no need for any injuries before what we soon have to face."

Ella was nearby by a copse of trees, shooting with her bow at a target she had drawn on a tree. Practice, practice, practice.

Maekar went and found his spear, having left his armor on unless he was washing it or himself. He walked back to Dud,"It's been a little while since I set up my own tent, but a two years of being a Lord leaves some things rusty." He settled into his fighting stance,"Ready, when you are."

Riley has been chatting with other people for the trip, as a mercy, but when Amelia finally sets up her tent it's the other easterner who comes. Cassana sits next to her and offers her a skin of wine. "You all right?"

"Always ready. I'm Dudley Mudd, by the way, Lord of Seagard. That is the Lady of Seagard there, Ella." Dud said pointing over to his new wife as she is practicing. Dud then takes his stance for the spar.

Round 1
Maekar: 200 Dudley: 120 (heavy hit, K.O.)
In a horrendously short practice session, Maekar simply waits for Dud to charge before sidestepping and slamming the shaft of his spear into the Lord's helmet. Dudley goes down in a daze.

"It isn't easy being among people who now hate you and likely wish you dead."

Maekar frowns at the downed Lord, before shouting to the man's wife. "Lady Ella, your husband has had an accident."

Ella fired a shot at the three and pulled another arrow from her quiver without looking about. "Dud can look after himself!" She called back.

Dud in a long daze took off his helm and ran a hand over his head. He stayed on the ground. "Well this is why we practice now isn't it." He said with a small laugh, which was directed at himself. "Good shot, glad it wasn't the other end of that spear that hit my head."

Maekar shrugged,"Less tent building could remedy that." Maekar moved to assist him to his feet.
