Harwyn is more than happy to comply with those orders and begins preparations for the attack.
When ready, Harwyn and his men make their way to the fort.
Fighting Axes (One Handed) 101 and a star for effort. Chain Shield
Land Siege 85 Command 90 Raiding 50 Rallying 85 Routing 85
Ravager: Harwyn adds 10 to all rolls against opponents whose skill is less than 85. He also adds 5 to any intimidation rolls against those with a lower weapons score than him. Reckless Assault: Harwyn gains +10 to all command rolls against opponents with a lower command score(90) and suffers -5 against ones with a higher score due to his brutal but uncomplicated tactics.

The landing:
The ships come in north of the fort to start disembarking troops. Caltrops sewn in the sea hurt dozens of men as they leap from ships but the forces arrive, haphazardly disembarking and charging to form a line. Harwyn organizes as he sees men stumbling about, nails in their feet, and he hears the steady thump thump thump of war drums being beaten, as a line of purple-clad soldiers marches out of the fort, and raiders from the countryside on horseback approach from the east. At their head is Frances Dayne.
Harwyn:
101 Axes 90 Command (Frances has 90 Command)
3800 levies, 700 heavy foot, 200 cavalry
Frances:
4000 levies, 1000 heavy foot, 400 cavalry

Killion orders all the Iron Fortresses loaded with wildfire bombs...just in case.

Round 1: If Harwyn wins two consecutive command rolls, his men can burn the damaged fort. Otherwise fort can burn from ship artillery and dedicated manpower at round 5.
Harwyn (+13 for troops): 148/134
Frances (+22 for troops): 139/141
The forces collide, and it is fairly static as Harwyn drives his men towards the small fort. Burning the fort will enable ships to approach the much larger forts guarding the main entrance to the harbors. It is clear this entire city is being built up as some sort of death trial for the armies of Westeros.
Harwyn: 4450 Frances: 5100

Round 2:
Harwyn: 145/165
Frances: 130/161
Harwyn's men, supported by the ship artillery, reach the small fort and torch it as the battle rages. Fracnes's mercenaries seem unequal to the task of holding them off for now. They inflict many casualties but the fight is even, impressive given the hundreds lost to the battle to the caltrops.
Harwyn: 4200 Frances: 4800

Harwyn and his men begin the steady battle back to the boats, hoping the growing fortferno will cause chaos among the mercenaries.

The ships stop the Daynes from pushing too hard and they suffer some more losses from caltrops, but the mission is a success. 1 command.

With the mission successful and the destroyed fort offering a dead zone in the coastal defenses, Killion ordered the Iron Fortresses forward to bombard the city proper. Wildfire bombs were loaded as well as a projectile of Killion's own design; clay orbs filled with red powder. Maps were given to the engineers with their targets marked.
Wildfire Bombs: Granaries, dense urban neighborhoods, Frances and his troops on the beachhead, Frances' fortress
Red Powder Bombs: Barracks, army encampments, and high population neighborhoods
Killion pulled a Myrish lens out and peered through it to watch the results, amused by the irony that he would be watching the destruction through an item made in the city .

Aboard his own ship again, Harwyn watches the results of their attack. A lot of their plan had clearly been invested in this, now was not the time for another of Frances' tricks.

Hundreds die in the bombardment, mostly civilians. Frances's own base is too far from the shore to hit but several barracks are destroyed, and the red powder makes an amusing cloud of dust inhaled by people from soldiers to children. It will temporarily give them really odd powers, however.

Killion orders the fleet back and continues to observe the raging fires and spreading clouds of red powder, waiting the 24 hours necessary for the debilitating withdrawals to kick in. Myr may not have a shortage of food (though they would if the fires reached the granary) but there was no way they had enough of the drug to satisfy the sudden spike in demand. The red powder also killed much more rapidly than an empty belly. He hoped the city would either burn to ash or tear itself to pieces.

Nymos did his damn best to not think about what killions tactics were doing, and instead on observing the type of acts the ironborn did in warfare. Being a ground force fighter, nymos and the ironborn awaited the push inland for them to makd their moves.

Thousands die, but they are not fighting a man who much cares. The Ghiscari legions hold order with his sellswords, and the city folk are moved away from the coast and sent to tend fields.

After a few days of continued bombardment, a messenger arrived to inform Killion of the plight of the Iron Islands. His furious cursing was carried by the foul wind, as he ordered the blockade lifted. He called his captains and the representatives from the other kingdoms to the deck of his flagship.
"The Iron Islands have been overrun by the dead." he announced, gritting his teeth as his eyes looked upon the fires that raged in Myr rather than the men before him. "Apologies, but we must see to our own. Any Dornish and Kingslanders that remain with us in attempting to see to the crisis will have the eternal gratitude of my kingdom. Those that decide this is not their fight and wish to see to their own lands, I will understand. I swear to you Frances Dayne will fall, just not this day."

Harwyn swore loudly, scowling at the burning city as though Frances was to blame. "We should send the corsairs ahead, get support to the Islands as fast as possible, and I'd like to be there. If it hasn't fallen by the time I'm there, Hammerhorn will not fall."
