"Sure," he said. "We need all the help we can get." He looked about. "Sooner rather than later." He looked to the refugee camp. "We should just commandeer some ships and evacuate the no combatants."

"If you can find enough to hold all the people," Benjen said, wondering whom he would speak to first. His father, most likely. "I'll take them to Maidenpool and from there to Eddard's Rest. I brought them south of the Wall, I need to look after them."

Ser Lucas nodded. "Regrettably they can't be ours," he said. "But if the Long Night is starting early then we are going to require assistance immediately. Fleets, dragons, and fucking something to hurt those fucking Knights."

"The Long Night... my grandmother told me many stories about it - about Azor Ahai and his sword Lightbringer." He shook his head. "Valyrian Steel... I get the feeling something crafted with such sorcery will hurt the bastards. As for dragons..." He thought. "Perhaps we can get one. Perhaps."

"Magic swords and stories are wonderful, but we need that dragon and those real swords," he said. "But best get some rest. Getting these people out will make for a long day."

"The Others were stories until they turned out to be real," Benjen stated. "I'll see to the people tomorrow. For now I need a meal and some sleep."

Lucas nodded and went back to planning his stuff. Ben has a room ready for him to use, and the food isn't really great but it's hot and fills his stomach.

Before sleeping Benjen asks Julia to come see him.

Julia walks in in bare feet, her heel bloody from walking too much. "Prince," she said simply. "Long week."

"A very long one but we have some time for respite now," Benjen told her. "What are you going to do now?"

"Head to Pentos," she said. "I think. I'm not really cut out for this undeath stuff." She poured a drink. "If anyone is."

"And what will you do in Pentos?" Benjen asked, taking a sip from his wine. "You did well out there and kept the people inspired. You're a good person."

"Hide for now, probably. Wait to see who wins the power struggle there." She shook her head. "You did the leading. No wonder we hear stories about you all the way up where I was." She stared him down. "Why did you come to Hardhome? What gain was there?"

"I came to see what what the rumours and tales were about," Benjen told her. "I had to see it for myself. Then, when I saw all of those people the plan changed..." He looked down into his drink. "I'm the heir to the North but if it costs me my life to save Westeros then that is what I will pay." He looked to her. "You should stay here, we could do with your advice. My brother Nick is from Pentos - the two of you would get on well."

"I will consider it," she promised. "Who was this zodiac?"
