Her answer felt rehearsed,"I'm sure." He sipped some more wine, talking this much was hurting his throat,"The people of Highgarden will love you then, I've done my best to help them. Despite my efforts, they seem more afraid than grateful."

He turned back to Arannia,"What of Dorne, we don't often get along, but I believe it'd be in our best interest to form some sort of relationship. They could cut off the sea between Starfall and the Summer Isles, not to mention the Stepstones."

Maekar waits until the dinner ends, then quietly excuses himself and heads to his chambers. Not long after his siblings leave as well.
