"Interesting," Denys said. "I do know a person who will do it. For free," he adds. "I'm quite good at it."

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" Amelia said cheerfully, rising. "Benjen sister Robyn is a headstrong girl, which means she can hard to talk to sometimes but also that she succeeds. I can see her being important to Benjen's future kingship."

Denys seems to file that away in his mind. "The warrior one," he says, as if reminding himself. "Interesting sounding woman."

"The very same," Amelia agreed, holding out her hand to Denys as they made their way to wherever she would be pierced. "King Terence is... well, he is a man who has done what he has deemed right and necessary. Though I feel some of our greatest troubles are, through indirect consequence, his doing."

"Monarchs are responsible for anything that happens," he commended, taking out a long needle. "Whether good or ill. It sort of comes with the privileges of ruling." The hot steel slides in, but fat enough to not be overly painful. "I dislike taking blame. I prefer no one knowing who I am at all, when I am responsible for something."

Amelia winces as the needle goes in but waits until the pain relents. "I fear I am only too obvious about when something is my fault, though sometimes being known for being responsible for foolish things lets me get away with something more serious." She smiles.

"Being underestimated is a source of strength in itself," Denys said. He puts a ring in the hole. "Invisibility is easy if you don't try to be seen."

"Oh, but I love being seen, Denys; It's what makes me, me!" Amelia said with a giggle. "One of those dangly diamonds..." She said as he put the ring in.

The gem goes on. "I'm not as atractive," he drawlrd. "It helps."

"I have always wondered what my life would be like if I was ugly," Amelia said with a small giggle, getting up and looking how the gem looked. "I like to think I would have been Benjen's friend anyway."

"If he is a man worth being friends with I'd hope the answer is yes," he said. "But men can be hard to judge." A knock comes to the door.
"Master, the emissary from New Ghis is here." An eyeroll.
"How lovely. I hope he brought resents for my surprise nuptials," he muttered. "I hate these barbarians."

"New Ghis? I'm not wearing the right thing!" Amelia said, quickly changing into a "dress" that consistes of thin swathes of blue satin, a veil in front of her fave. Her belly was displayed between the two layers of satin proudly.

The Ghiscari ambassador enters, and a long and extremely tedious debate over the price of some sort of naval artillery is debated. The meeting is entirely in Ghiscari, which makes it worse. Apparently Denys wins, because the angry ambassador kicks an urn on the way out.

"Bye bye!" Amelia said, giving the man a cute little wave and a smile. "Gods, what was that? I understood about five words!"

"He just bought a fleet," Denys said. "And he wanted to buy lower than I was willing to sell."
