The lavish and rich island belonging to Denys the Exile.

Lisenya and her two aides approached the main bridge that lead to the island, looking to see who they would need to talk to to gain access.

The only small bridge is gurded by a Summer Islander with a sword made of...dragonglass? He stares at the new arrivals. He speaks in fluent Braavosi. "State your business."

"I am Lisenya Delarys, here on behalf of Lady Amelia Royce," She says simply, holding out a writ that confirms this. It also confirms that Amelia is the Lady of Gulltown, a beautiful and powerful sorceress of renown and a personal friend and adviser to the Crown Prince of the North. "She wishes that I speak for her to Master Denys."

The man looks at it. "Follow." He calls for two replacement guards (apparently he is a badass if he's alone) and leads the girl, and the girl only, to the estate. The house is vast and spacious and lovely, and Lisenya sees a fucking tiger walking about the grounds. He takes her up to a large and spacious and all ebony office where a man is seated, overlooking his fine island. He doesn't turn about as he speaks.
"You have four sentences to interest me."

Lisenya watched the tiger with a wary eye as she passed, and though she was a little impressed by the display for wealth she also found it a definite turn-off.
She studied the... back of the man's head, forming her words.
"How would you like to marry a woman worth all of the gold you own; a woman who's beauty is talked about from the south of Dorne to way beyond the Wall" (technically not a lie)"; a woman whose sorcerous powers are a match for her appearance." She pauses. "She is also the ruler of Gulltown. Her name is Amelia. Amelia Royce."

He spins about with a cynical expression. "I own quite a bit of gold. Beauty from beyond their stinking Wall is hardly a recommendation, now is it? I think they fuck mammoths there, or marmots, or whatever the animal is. Ugly, is what it is." He taps a finger on the table. "Gulltown, now, that comes with an income I could respect, I suppose." He looks to her. "And other than the fact I could mold a life size statue of her from the gold I own, why does this Amelia Royce wish to marry me?"

"Purely that fact alone," Lisenya responded, clearly a joke. "I do not believe my lady will simply settle for anyone, a fact that no doubt you would recognize yourself if you got to know her. But it is talent she is drawn to, not money. She has seen how you have been able to work your way to being... well, the owner of the Golden Isle."
Lisenya smiled. "She is talented herself."

Denys's expression doesn't change for a second. He is slim and unassuming by build, but his black hair and blue eyes stand out prominently. "A woman who understands the importance of talent. Rare enough," he allows. "What is it she thinks I do, exactly?"

"Make money, sell things, find things that can't be sold then sell them," Lisenya responded, studying the man's eyes. "I am sure there is more to it than that, though that is as far as she mentioned to me. She also respects that you do not sell people."

Denys looks faintly amused at that. "Her magic isn't quite all powerful, then. Good to know." He taps a finger on the table. Even a man in my position knows better than to sell slaves from Braavos." He thinks a moment. "She should owe me a night in bed, for getting her her new position."

"Should she?" Lisenya asked, an eyebrow faintly raised, though she remained in good humour. "Typically that is where a marriage lands one, no?" She smiled. "Of course I cannot be surprised that you were involved with the Graftons, in one way or another. Trade with Gulltown is good."

"It is that," he agrees. "But I imagnie the lady would want to remain at that cold city, when this island is so warm and inviting." He rises. "Is she a moral woman, this Amelia? Possessed of decency and scruple?"

"Lady Amelia is no stranger to travel, and I couldn't imagine her not wanting to spend some time in a place as lavish as this," Lisenya answered, waving at the palace. At the last question she smiled. "Decency? That depends; she is ambitious, flirtatious, perhaps a little mad but she possesses a strong moral character, even if it might not appear so. She does like men..." Lisenya added, studying a fingernail.

"Oh, every man with red blood has heard of Amelia Royce," the man says with a chuckle. "Particularly those of us who have cause to study Westeros quite closely. Even were her...adventures not so story-book, her position at the end of Benjen Stark's cock would be of interest." He walks to a door and opens it, and Lisenya can see a staircase. "Please, I'll show you what I mean."
