Lisenya laughed. "Very kind of you, master Denys. I will fetch my money now and make my way to the harbor. I am sure we will meet again."

Amelia Royce arrived on the Golden Eye, having spent the last half bell of the journey getting herself ready. She left the ship wearing a beautiful crimson dress, cut tightly to accentuate her curves and offering mild but not too deep cleavage. She had pinned her hair up as well and wore large gold chandelier earrings.

He offers her an arm and then leads her into his manse. "I'll give a more thorough tour later. For now, you must be famished...or at least thirsty." Wine and foods of all sort are available. After pouring her a glass that cost more than her dress, he offers her a seat overlooking the menagerie of birds and animals. "Now, then, your ambassador was long on praise and short on specifics. I approve of that." He clinks her glass. "I have a few terms of my own."

Amelia sipped from the wine, enjoying the flavour on her tongue as she watched the birds and various animals flutter and pace about. "Of course, Master Denys. Please elaborate, though let me tell you that your palace is absolutely gorgeous!"

"I cannot swear to King Terrence," he said. "And all children save our eldest son is raised here. You will have your heir to Gulltown wherever you wish, of course."

"Agreed," Amelia responded brightly, glad she wouldn't have to convince the man in person to marry her. "What of the Golden Isle; who will it go to after you?"

"The child I like the most," he said offhandedly. "The one who can expand my empire."

She laughed at that. "That suits me. So, speaking of your, or, our empire - as your future wife I would love be involved in the expansion and development of it."

"Would you, now?" he asked. He folded his fingers and tapped their tips aainst each other. "We can discuss my business enterprises after a wedding. But, I assure you, secrets between us will be a recurring theme, I sense."

"I am willing to be open if you are," Amelia said earnestly, a smile lingering on her lips. "As for the wedding, I must insist that it is here! Such a beautiful place."
She paused. "Your last name... I can only presume it's..?"

"I have none," he said firmly. "Royce will suit as well as any other. You can hardly surreender yours, anyway."
