"Perhaps. That one is rather annoying to track, according to my agents. I stopped trying years ago."

Amelia nodded. "I can see that. Well, I can only up Lisenya finds Faeron. We need him."

Denys looks amused. "For what? Odd experiments?" He looked her over. "You Westerosi take the emperor more seriously than the people he wars with do."

"Maybe that will make the difference once he sets his eyes on us," Amelia responded with a pout. "It seems the people here should be taking him as seriously as us."

Denys snorted. "His arrogance will end him long before he ges to us, or the massive alliance of enemies he has will finish him." He points at the garden. "Ghis, Meereen, and Volantis all oppose him. They can mobilize a million men."

"Then why don't they?" Amelia asked, her eyes on eyes on Denys. "It seems foolish to let a man of such caliber fly around as he is doing right now." She thought for a moment on that entry she had read. Vhagus, Elias, Zenobia, Harrys and Cassadar had returned from Yeen. They had been the Five. But the book had mentioned six survivors. Was this a mysterious addition into the demon-possessed people who were causing havoc in Westeros?
Fuck Yeen...

"He's dangerous, but not to us. And besides, you're living in the house his gold built," Denys said. "If Braavos feels the need to crush Vhagus then the Iron Bank will open its vaults and the king shall fall. But until then, his existence is a weapon's dealers fantasy." He grins. "He is as valuable to my purse as you are to my manhood."

"I am not about to let Vhagus Blackfyre out of my sights," Amelia responded. "Though Faeron might be useful against Dayne as well. Even knowing where the man is will be useful."

Denys is clearly only tangentially interested in odd sorcerers and rulers in lands that don't yet border lands that border Braavos. "At least they are interesting to keep track of," he said. "I'd have thought the war across the Narrow sea would be all you care about." He pours some sparkling wine and drinks it.

"And why might that be?" Amelia asked Denys, grabbing a crystal glass and holding it out for him to pour. She'd been sure to wear a ton of jewellery for the wedding and wore even more now that she was his wife.

"Because you own a city there?" he said. "Because that is where all your relatives and friends are? Because," he said, "King Bryce is dangerous, but looking east for his answers, not to the rest of Westeros?"

"Gulltown is far north of this war going on, though the recent... events in Pentos do provide some cause of concern," Ami said. "Princess Robyn went to Pentos to secure an alliance and failed. Every other Free City seems to be involved in one way or another already. There is no one left to befriend."

Denys nods. "Pentos is a concern to you, my love. Their fleets could bash the North's handily, I think. But I believe they are posturing for Vhagus's approval until he leaves, when they go back to doing what they do best, which is speaking loudly and nothing else. And," he added, "Bryce hasn't invaded the Goldlands or North yet, has he?"

"Not as far as I know," Amelia responded. "I will be speaking with Benjen tonight through the flames and will know more. After King's Landing I doubt either of them will wish to see too big a host facing another."

"Exactly," he said. "The North is weakened and he stays put. Curious."
