Harwyn meets the galley between the fleets and moves to the bow, shouting across the water. "I am Harwyn, slayer of Entel Moray and voice of this fleet. We seek safe passage through the waters of the Reach."

A knight shouts back. "The Straits are closed! The Iron Fleet is massing and the Reach has revolted against the kingdom. Turn back!"

"If the Iron Fleet is massing and the Reach revolting, you can ill afford a conflict here. Let us be on our way and you will not see us again." Harwyn smiles to the knight, then gestures to the Titans fleet in the distance. "We are asking nicely."

"You think we don't know who the Iron Titans are? The smae Iron Titans who killed Entel Moray? The ones who are heading to join King Euric's armada to destroy us?" the man said. "I will respond nicely. Fuck. Off."

"The same Titans who have no allegiance to King Euric. You may know my name as well. Harwyn Goodbrother, leader of the Bloody Brothers, former raider. I left the Iron Islands behind and I have no intention of swearing fealty to a king of birth. We may lose this battle, but the damage it would cause to your fleet means you lose a war we don't care about. Let us pass." Harwyn spits over the side of the boat, arms crossed as he stares the knight down.

The man nods. "I'll believe two Ironborn captains have no allegiance to King Euric but want to go up this coast anyway the same amount I'll believe that your sniveling fleet can dent the Arbor's finest," he said. "Lord Shaun is going to eat you all alive if you are seen again."

Harwyn stared at the man for another moment before laughing, turning around and ordering the ship to return to the fleet. "Very well, you will not see us again."

Facing the Arbor fleet, the Iron Titans will withdraw for now. The fleet will pull back to the stepstones and await further news from the reach, as Harwyn aboard the Painted Lady, disguised as a merchant vessel (quite simply by having trade goods and the weapons stowed away, flying a reach flag) will proceed to the Iron Islands alone, Harwyn to act as the mercenaries representative to the Iron King.
