Amelia dodges and zombies and such, and she is able to slip past everyone into the room. The light grows brighter as she walks. After fifteen feet is a left turn, where she sees the source of the pulsing. A circular room is circled by corpses, piled four or five high in a thirty foot star shape. There must be a hundred bodies. Melted swords are seen on the floor, and in the center of the star, seated on a pile of bodies, is Malryas Bolton. His brother, who Amelia hasn't seen in well over seven or eight years, stands next to him. Elias turns to Amelia with a grim look. "You shouldn't have come, Royce. It is almost over now." Amelia stared open mouthed, only closing it when she saw that her former mentor was present. She couldn't look like too much of a fool, after all. "Malryas... Elias? What... what the hells have you done here?" She asked, very aware of the immense power present in the room.

"We saved te world," Elias said, "but it cost us our souls. The Five were created because my brother here failed in his primary role. He went to Yeen to be empowered by something, something strong enough to stop Meraxes's arrival, but...it was too strong. Took him over. Vhagus showed us...how to get our own powers, and we trapped it inside his mind. But we are dying out now, three of us gone, Vhagus's power withdrawn...and I am not strong enough to hold back anymore." He smiles a bit sadly. "I fear my brother will not be happy." The handsome young man sprouts fangs. "And my demon is feeding off the other's deaths. Harrys alone knew how to contain it, and Harrys is gone now." He steps down, batlike wings sprouting slowly from his back.

Amelia slowly stepped backwards as Elias began is... strange transformation. "But what is all of this... the star, the bodies? What have you created her?!"
She knew running would be pointless and wondered if maybe some of the mass amount of magical energy in this room could be used to her advantage. She would attempt to grab any and all of the shadows nearby that she could and tie them around Elias Bat-ton, hoping to keep him locked in place long enough for the others to arrive and hack him to pieces.

"A prison," he said, "before his skin grows some matted, greenish fur. "For my brother. But it isn't working now." He rolls his head about as it stretches. The shadows wave around him but he contemptuously walks through them. One of them stabs him in the foot, though, and with an irritated look he 'stamps' it to a normal shadow.
From the other room Benjen and Jaymes and their two guards have cleaned up the horde.

Amelia keeps walking backwards towards the door, her eyes kept on Elias Bolton.
"Will he die?" Amelia asked, indicating Malryas behind the thing that used to be his brother.
//
Next door Benjen wipes his sword on one of the zombies and turns to Jaymes. "We should head in there," He suggested, then charged with his men into the door.

Jaymes swept the blood, decayed body bits and whatever goo he had on him off his face, looking utterly disgusted. "What the fuck," he whispered to himself before looking to Prince Benjen and the two remaining guards. Convinced of their well-being, he turned to the Frey girl who had.. gotten bit. "Are you alright?" he asked, stepping closer.

Elias unfolds his wings suddenly, the iron-hard tips of them smashing into the ceiling. A long crack appears on the ceiling, and a table and a bunch of dead and hacked up bodies collapse, forming a barrier between Amelia and the demon lord. "He will neer have been more alive, Amelia," the fiend promises.

Danya hissed in pain but managed a smile at Jaymes. "Yes, thank you..." She answered, getting to her feet again. "Think I'll stay back for now though," She said, exchanging her daggers for her crossbow.
//
"Let him go now!" Amelia called out. Having no one around who could get in the way and with the bodies forming somewhat of a barricade, Amelia decides to try the other way. Seeking out any nearby flames she puts all her energy into trying to form the biggest ball of fire she can and throwing it at the huge creature.

After gallantly helping the Frey girl to her feet whilst looking like a Broodmother had just exploded on him, Jaymes turned to Benjen with a grave nod. "Shall we?" he said, going for the door.

Already halfway through the door Benjen simply nods and rushes into the hallway, towards the pulsing.
Danya followed, crossbow loaded and ready.

Elias contemptuously bats Amelia's fireball away. There simply isn't enough fire nearby for her still-raw talents to put effective use to, much less against such a beast. As he opens his mouth to speak, Benjen and Jaymes and the men charge in, Danya in the rear. The sight before them is...unprecedented, even by Ben's undoubtedly jaded standards. The time for talking being long past, the fight is on.

Danya: 99
Whether through injuries or a supernaturally induced fear, Danya's aim is shaky and her bolt skips down the hall, avoiding the beast entirely. Elias turns to the four. His wings fold forward and a long and slimy yellow tongue oozes from his mouth, flicking like a serpent. He picks up two swords from the floor and advances.
Round 1:
Benjen: 97 (-20) Jaymes: 173 Dead: 150 Meat: 80 (-35)
Right Hand: 139 Left hand: 158 (-10) Wings: 121
The iron wings of the creature smash around, sending Amelia flying through the air. She lands on the table, which somewhat ironically breaks her fall. Benjen attacks first, but Elias is unbelievably fast, and his right hand's blade stabs the prince deeply. One of his men is nearly killed by the other hand, but Lord Jaymes manages a narrow strike on it. Elias chuckles as they fight him.

Jaymes tosses Amelia a bottle of mana/lyrium he'd just looted from one of the decaying corpses, along with a rusty dagger. God, this loot system sucked.

Larry had a bad feeling in his stomach. Not the bad feeling one gets when one eats those cheap dornish tacos in kings landing, a copper each, but the bad feeling one gets when you just have the realization that your almighty gods have looked down upon you and labeled you as "Dead". He fought on anyway, though was momentarily distracted by the blood from his best friend forever splashing onto his shirt, making it look entirely red. "At least they won't see me bleed with my redshirt on!" he thought optimistically to himself. He patiently waits for his turn in the turn order, hoping he could at least 5 foot step to get a full attack action off. But the thing probably had bloody 15 foot reach.
