Jared is flipping a dagger up in the air, spinning it and catching it, over and over. It seems a sort of nervous habit. "I hope you're ready for some hard riding, Robyn," he said. "And then a hell of a fight."

"Always," Robyn said, but devoid of her usual humour.

"What's the matter?" He stopped spinning the dagger and held his sword out before his head, inspecting it for any defects. "Valar moghulis. I'm not clear on the feminine version, but it is just as true," he jokes. "Stick to that archery of yours and fill them all full of holes and you'll be fine."

Robyn looked round at Jared, "My family do not know yet that I have come," Robyn said, hoping she would return, or she would be in even worse trouble with her father, "This is actually a lot more like what I am used to doing, not exactly, but more like it."

Jared narrowed an eye. "Well damn. Now if you get hurt I am going to be a fugitive, too. I'd better make sure your sword skills are up to par."

"I will do my best to not get hurt, just to keep you out of trouble," Robyn said, with a small smile, apparently she was in a particularly good mood.

"Your motive won't concern me. Your staying healthy does," he said with a laugh. "What's the best adventure you've ever been on?"

"I'll tell you, if we both live through this," she said, looking round at him as he laughed, "It may be a better idea if they... never found out about this?"

"Oh, they'll find out. People talk," he said. "But I don't. I believe everyone is entitled to their secrets."

"I mean, immediately, I do not mind if they find out... after, but you know, if my involvement could be down played... all the better. "

"You can be the eye candy of the operation, I'm sure no one will have a problem with that," he agreed. "We shall say you danced formally before this Snow and he was blinded by your beauty, making us gutting him and then hanging him like a fish an easy task."

Robyn looked at him, and did not look impressed, "You can mock me all you like, but it is you who invited me along. If you think that will be effective in catching this Nick Snow... then by all means, let's."

Jared looks to her archly. "Have a sense of humor, princess. This should be a simple snatch and grab and gut operation. there's no reward for him alive."
