"Goodnight Harlan and thank you." Borros said, taking his watch. If nothing occurred in the evening, they would ride out at first light.

Harrick and the four men returned a while later, the former making his way to Borros.
"We've found them, Ser," He said. "About a bell's ride out in a ravine. They're ripe for an ambush." He had a severe look on his face.

Once news spreads that Ser Borros and his men were successful a festive mood quickly breaks out. Even before the small force returns preparations begin for a party. The pavilion that was originally intended for the wounded is expanded and within tables and chairs are set up, the remaining residents of Brimstone beginning to prepare food and drink.
When the victors return they are hailed and cheered as heroes and the night of festivity begins.
At the entrance to the pavilion Borros is greeted by Delena and his daughter, both of them embracing him in a powerful embrace.
"Oh am I glad you are safe!!" Delena says with tears in her eyes. "Daddy is a hero!" His daughter Lydia adds.
Music is playing from within the pavilion and even Old Herlon is there, seated beside Red Mitch, who is of course drunk.

Fraheri is quick to take all the glory he can, proclaiming how his crossbow saved the Ser's life in the battle, and that there would be a 5% discount at his store for heroes from the battle (and a 10% price increase while it was in effect). He'll go Old Herlon "I'm so glad all that was over! What a scare! Where did you learn medicine? After something like this, I feel like we shouldn't lose that knowledge. I'm proficient myself, could I help you?"

Roly comes back to the village with a thirst beyond what he has ever had. Roly had never been in a real battle like that. He's fought before, but from city guards that once you put up too much of a fight, just let you run off. The rush after the battle made him feel so alive.
He grabbed a flagon of ale and chugged it back.

Old Herlon grins. "I picked it up in my old sellswording days," He said, head bobbing. "Alanna's bow and Alyn's sword, they used to be mine." He drank from the small cup of wine he had. "There may be a few things you could provide me with in the future, though I feel I don't have too many years left in me."

She smiled sweetly at him.

"Oh I'm sure I could make your stay here comfortable indeed, though you should share your knowledge. We would not want to lose such a thing if tragedy strikes here again." Fraheri refills his cup "And, of course, I'm one who certainly has the easier remedies already known."

Old Herlon chuckles. "I've forgotten more than I still know, Freheri, but I would be willing to teach you some of my knowledge." He sighs. "The girl is awake... I feel she might even make it to the party."

Fraheri didn't remember a girl... "Who was that girl? Was she with Alyn?"

Drake never thought he'd have to fight so hard again but he got roped into going to the damn battle. At least he was able to get some plunder off the Dayne men so he could sell it for some good profits. Good profits indeed, but very risky...He would prefer to go back to making safe money behind his bar counter. He stood around silently as he thought of Terrence the fisherman never being able to see this celebration, how the village had all come together to vanquish a foe.... The memory made him choke up a little bit and he quickly took a drink before he could let out a small sob.

Fraheri didn't remember a girl... "Who was that girl? Was she with Alyn?" "Yes, he brought her here from White Dunes," Old Herlon says, a sad look on his face. "The poor girl will have to walk around with bandages on her face for the rest of her life, but we will take good care of her.

"Ah..." Fraheri fumbles around "Well, everything will go back to normal now. Back to what we can expect. That was excitement enough for a lifetime!"

"I was never shaken though. I'd go into greater detail, but I wouldn't want to trouble you with such brutality."
