"Stay safe, Robyn," Terrence said. "You have to come back to give me more chances at heart failure."

"What are daughters for?" She asked, and left.

After being able to find, pretty much nobody, because they had all gone west for some reason, Robyn goes to see her father, to ask where everyone is.

Terrence is studying something. "Excellent work!" he starts as the princess and her brother enter. "Scaled the damned mountain. Fascinating. I had no idea it could be done, but then I've neer been to the base of it before." He looks her over. "Are you hurt?" As she asks him for events, he shakes his head.
"The Vulture King has wed Ellaria Dayne and proclaimed himself Bryce's heir," Nick winces visibly, "and his armies will rise against us."

"Not at all" She lied, though it was true enough, she had received a knick fighting the man over the little girl, but she would not really say she had been hurt. "The whole things went surprisingly smoothly, I am fairly sure I could remember the way to where be climbed, if the needs ever arose."
She frowned as he mentioned Ellaria. She did not much dare for the Dornish girl, but they all knew what a monster Bryce was, and to be in his clutches again, she'd not wish it on her greatest enemy. She looked over at Nick, she wanted to put a comforting arm on his shoulder, but it did not seem the time nor place and she doubted it would be appreciated.
"A shame also... to lose the men we sent with her, I am sure they were all killed too."

"Probably," he muttered, "though most were Dornish." He looked to his son a moment and seemed about to say something, but continued talking to Robyn. "Lord Kalvin's wife left for the Reach, to take over Oldtown and become a ruler in her own right. Be wary when you meet with him," he said. "You know how he gets when he's angry." Not that he'd ever hurt a Stark, mind... "And your brother has gone to ransom the prisoners to King Brynden and consult with him on the next phase of the war with Meera following him." He nods. "I suppose that covers it."

"Why did Meera go?" She asked, "Why would Arania be made lady of Oldtown?" robyn looked confused, "I am not very politically savvy... but is that not a huge sight to Kal... to the whole north? Does Benjen not have a war to run?" She asked, looking like the world was turning upside down.
She shook her head, marriages breaking down, princes going off bartering prisoners, women going off into marriage alliances with no one from the other side present at all to witness it... dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!
"Nothing to do with me.. I am sure you all know what you are doing. IS there anything you would like me to do, father.. or should I just go and meet up with Kal?"

"Meera feels safer being farther away from Lord Dayne, and if need be we can find Kalvi a new wife. He knew Arania Hightower had an independent streak a mile wide. Maybe Brynden will give him Kelsey." He points to a map. "You may join the army, or elp your brother with the Vulture. Keeping Bryce contained is important, as is crushing his allies."

"Going to the coast puts you closer to everyone," Robyn retorted, thinking Meera was being a bit foolish, but again, that was just her opinion. She thought they rather had too many marriages with the west already, let alone more, but she even if she voiced this... no one would listen to her, no one ever did. Go and get Meera out before something bad happens, no one did anything, she got captured and tortured for months. She felt Cassandra.
She considered where she would be more useful, if there was scouting, and so on, probably better with Benjen. "I will drop the men of the vale off with Kal and then I will go and find Benjen," then at least she could talk with her... cousin? almost, nearly, not really... distant relation. She and Kalvin had always got along very well.

"I nearly forgot," Terrence said. "Apparently Lord Crowl married the Queen Beyond the Wall. We hear word his army is moving south." He shakes his head. "I hope your brother knows what sort of bell he's ringing..."

"I think my brother works on a system of optimism and desperation" Robyn replied, only a little bit serious, "I hope we are not just surrounding ourselves on all sides... three sides seemed more than giving our enemies a sporting chance. Did the Nights Watch let an army of wildlings through? We should really look into updating their training, it seems to "do not" of "do not let wildlings enter the Kingdom" has been scratched off their instructions."

"If anyone can hold them in line it's Lord Karyl," he said. 'But your concerns are noted. Let's give us one less enemy to disturb our sleep."

"hopefully." Robyn said, and curtsied to the King. "I'll be going then" she looked to Nick, "are you going to come?" She thought the idea of liberating Ellaria may persuade him.

"If the princess asks, how can I not?" he said, his tone always formal before his father. "Besides, I need to speak to Kalvin anyway."

"Perfect, the more the merrier," she said, grinning at Nick, "See you soon father," she ends cheerily, and leaves the Solar to return to the Vale force.
