Whether this man sought their salvation or damnation, this could not continue. He had drawn too much attention to the arcane and it could mean their destruction. Men feared what they did not understand. Oriax vowed to finish the ritual himself if Cassadar's words were later proven true.
Though the golem of blood and sap was an impressive sight, they were only as strong as the sorcerer controlling them. Oriax drew from the vast reserves of power around him, his mind concentrating solely on the destruction of the man before him. A sorcerer's duel was a rare sight, even in the far East. The Ashaii was confident he was at least more experienced in that regard.
