"Starfall...or maybe...Storm's..." with a choking gasp, the legendary assassin breathes his last.

Benjen sighed, before picking Cassadar up. "Someone help me with him," He called out.

"We must...stop at the eastern shore first." Oriax interjected, flexing his ravaged fingers. "If that tome still remains it cannot be allowed to fall into another's hands." "We'll take a look at it. Should we go find a maester first? You are not in good shape."

"Will we be in any better shape if another foolish backwater sorcerer gets to the book first?" he asked, coldly. "Cassadar may still have men left to fetch it. I would not relish having to go through all this again, nor do I think I would survive another attempt."

Uhtred laughed "Aye, you burned that thing down to size didn't ya? We'll go fetch your pretty little book then, but I think anyone left near the edge of the lake have bigger problems. Who the hell are you anyway? I heard Assahai, so mayhaps you would know what exactly we just faced was?"

The Crowl carrying the dad Justin Mallister and the hilt of his shattered sword makes his way with the rest of the group back to the ships.

"We faced the Doom of Valyria and triumphed." Oriax answered, the realization washing over him. "Now lets get to the ships, fetch the book, and get patched up. Getting to know eachother can wait until the task at hand is finished."
He looked around for Nyles.

The ship has managed to survive, but it is damaged badly. Nyles looks at it with contempt. "A death trap with a sail," he mutters.

Jason had recovered his two-hander and shield, placing both across his back, before walking with the others to the ships, shaking his head slightly. "We survived a fight with a Goddess..." He shook his head again, rubbing a sore rib. "For now. I doubt she's done yet."

"Well, this ship won't sink itself. All aboard," Kalvin says, a bit sarcastically on seeing its wretched condition.

"Perfect.." He lets out a slight groan, looking around. "Now would be a good time for a convenient rescue.. surely someone would have seen that wave and come here to investigate."

Benjen remains quiet as he boards the ship, putting Cassadar's body down in the middle. He silently surveys the remaining members of their group.

Only two of their soldiers lived, and only the mercenary Nyles, silently counting all the gold to be gained from the fight, seems in the least bit happy, though Kalvin seems less distressed than everyone else.
