"Well, with his heritage it's no surprise he can fight," th king said. "I...suppose I should meet him."

"You can do what you like, of course, I would offer to go and fetch him for you, but as you can see, it would likely take a while," Robyn stood up then, "As you said, I should probably be resting, so if there is nothing else..."

//// Prince Killion Greyjoy and Lord Quentyn Cleftjaw arrive at their arranged meeting with the Starks, both likely with splitting headaches from the revelry the night before.

Quentyn had had a couple glasses of breakfast-wine to ease the pain, so he was managing a bit better than the prince.

When they entered Benjen was standing by the drinks table, pouring himself a whiskey. Presumably his father sat behind his desk or somewhere.
"Ah, my lords," The Prince said when they entered. "Please sit. Drink?"

Killion gulped down a glass, before tapping it for some more; easing the pain in his skull, wrist, and bruises from the melee. It was perhaps not the most refined way to start a negotiation, but then again he was used to negotiating at swordpoint so this was a sizable improvement.
"I could become accustomed to northern hospitality." he said, taking a seat.

"Absolutely." He walked over and grabbed a cup, then picked a bottle seemingly at random and poured. "Congratulations on the new bride."

Benjen poured two glasses of whiskey, as Quentyn was doing his own serving, and stepped around to sit beside his father. "Thank you, Lord Quentyn. She's definitely a woman worth fighting for."
He gulped down his drink and set his glass down. "How can we help you?"

Killion allowed Quentyn to take the lead, as he had been tasked to carry the message from his father, slowly nursing his second whiskey.

Quentyn sipped at his drink and took a seat before speaking.
"King Eurik has sent us in the interest of securing an alliance between our peoples. The Lannisters as well. Your enemies are numerous. The Reach has risen up against your new wife's family. Once Dayne has finished off the Baratheons, he's sure to look to the North and your Old Gods. We would be interested in taking part in these fights to come."

Benjen smiled a little and poured himself and Quentyn some more whiskey. "Those are words I like to hear, and no doubt my father does as well. King Euric seems like a clever man and I believe an alliance between our houses would be very useful. Marriage, I assume?"

Killion went from nursing to outright gulping his whiskey at the mention of marriage.
"That is the typical manner in which to seal an alliance." he remarked, dryly, wiping his mouth. "One you wish to last at least."

Benjen nodded, studying the two men for a moment. "Do you have any suggestions for marriages?"

"Prince Killion here is unwed, as are his younger siblings." Quentyn sips at his drink. "I believe you have sisters of an appropriate age, Prince Benjen? We spoke with Princess Robyn last night at the feast. Quite the...spirited young lady."

"My sister, yes, she is quite the little wolf," Benjen responded with a chuckle, sipping at his whiskey. "Do you wish to marry her, Prince Killion?"
