"He is on the frontier as always," Terrence notes. "You can talk to Commander Swiftriver if you need to know more." Terrence always subtly dismisses guests. "Your work will not be forgotten, Lars."

"I shall speak with him, Thank you, King Terrence." Lars bows before heading out to find Swiftriver. Durran, happy with his gold, does not follow Lars and goes where he will.

Ryan Swiftriver is easy enough to find, in the war room. He glances up. "Good work on your capture, Lars. Whiskey?" He offers him a cup. "I hope you're here for the scouting job."

The whiskey burns pleasantly, near as pleasant as the clank of good coin in his purse. "Trouble is everywhere. Word reaches us that this Chief Draven is far more dangerous than assumed. Swiftriver nods. "Marshal Blackwood has a host at Riverrun. Nothing may happen, but we shall be ready if it does."

"I shall head to Riverrun then. I hear the Tully's have a bandit problem. After I report to Marshal Blackwood, I may attempt to rid them of it." Lars says, "I will of course stay near to make sure I am accessible if anything does happen."

Ser Titus walks into the great hall, his cheeks rosy from the cold northern wind. In his hand he carries a leather flagon filled with a bitter wine. He looks about for the friendliest looking hound, and sits down to drink and make a new friend of the splotchy brown and white mutt, which seemed disappointed that he hadn't brought any food with him.

Benjen smiled at his father. "Thank you," He said with a nod. "It wasn't easy, but then no one had expected it to be. How did things fare here?"

"The walls stand and the borders are secure and so is the succession," he notes. "Could not be much better, really."

"Good to hear," Benjen commented. "Cassadar was involved with that mess in the Vale, and Bryce Dayne is too somehow. We found Ellaria there and... well, I brought her back here. It is safer than back at Starfall."
