"I have been in communication with Joanna Lannister and she seems a good sort. Her brother Jaymes, Lord James, is a decent man as well. They both want what is best for Westeros and King Brynden will have good council in them."

King Terrence's nodded. "I guess I cannot speak ill of your future bride." He grips his throne. "Lord Bryce is more on my mind, lately. I do not like having that man on my mind." He looks to Benjen. "I heard you wanted to march against him."

"I do," Benjen stated. "I know he is a real danger, though no doubt the Faith will find much fault in what the man is doing. We can only hope the two deplete each others forces before I get there. But Dayne will die."

"I certainly hope so," Terrence says. "If the Faith Militant breaks itself on Dayne we can win without even needing to call up more forces."

"I somehow get the feeling it won't be that easy," Benjen murmured. "Nothing ever is. I do not like the sound of Lord Rycherd Tyrell however. From what I recall of him he was a very arrogant man. It seems he has only gotten more full of himself."

"He can afford to be," Terrence said drily. "His coffers are full and his forces are vast." He taps a finger. "Once we rally the Vale we will need to talk to King Derek. This war will be deadly to all if it ignites completely."

"I had already thought of sending word to King Derek, requesting if we could pass through his lands to fight Lord Dayne. How amenable to an alliance do you think Baratheon would be?"

"Hard to say," Terrence says. "We've never been exactly close, although this is a time for alliances. We would risk our host being flanked by the Faith and 'King' Rycherd, as well."

Benjen nodded. "Perhaps this discussion is a little premature. We will see what the south looks like once I am done in the Vale." He brushes a hand through his hair. "I expect I will see you next at my wedding, father."

Terrence nods. "Good luck, my son. Crush them."

"I shall, father," Benjen replied, before going to his rooms. At least one night in a proper bed would only be fitting and he had two sons to play with.

In the middle of the night Karyl Crowl carrying several bulging sacks and a crate makes his way to the Great Hall and locks himself inside so he can't be interrupted. Eyeing the front of the room he lowers his jumble of sacks and the crate to reveal some mortar taken from the engineers down in the town. He sets to work on his project that had been months in the planning for he had finally been able to gather enough of the parts needed to complete his construction project.
Early the next morning The Crowl leaves the room, and the first person to enters is confused upon looking at the throne having been replaced by a giant monstrosity of a throne that seems to have been made entirely of skulls and other bits of bones. This new throne while not as pretty as the other one was quite a bit heavier and about 3 times the size of it's predecessor, and gave off a kind of vicious elegance that the rest of Crowl's creations seemed to have.
