Ghaston pockets the strange coin for future inspection and turns to the captives.
"I Ser Ghaston the Grey, in the name of the Seven above and their representative on earth His Holiness High Septon Warren, find you guilty of heresy and murder most foul. Accordingly with the Father's justice, you are condemned to hang by the neck until dead. May the Mother have mercy on your souls."
He drew his sword and hacked off the head of the dead cult leader in one swipe.
"Kill them all, the Gods will recognize their own." he intoned, his words of steel.

His orders are carried out without comment.

Ghaston watched in silence as the men swung from a nearby tree, mounting his horse and turning to Yronwood.
"A shame Lordsbane escaped, but we should return to Masons Keep."

Ser Gerold's face was like a mask, almost completely bereft of emotion as he watched the men swing from the tree. He offered a silent prayer that the Father judge them justly and thanked the Warrior for giving him and his companions the strength to prevail over their foe.
Ser Gerold mounted with the rest and caught Ser Ghaston's words. If the Gods deemed Gerold worthy then Lordsbane would meet his demise. He swore an oath that justice would be served.

"He will be brought to justice, I am sure," Yronwood said with conviction. "He was merely the bait for this trap and though we escaped its jaws it is likely he will resurface soon."
He looked around, directing his remaining men to gather the Dornish dead; two of his seven men were dead, and there was still no sign of the two he'd sent to scout the road outside the town; each of the rest bore wounds but they could still ride.
"Let us leave this foul place," he said, looking mournfully at the sept. "Perhaps His High Holiness will re-consecrate this ground, and remove the taint that lingers after... what happened."

Ser Ghaston rode in silence back to Masons Keep, merely grunting at Yronwood's mention of the sept being re-consecrated. Nothing could wash the dark stain from that sept. It would be better to reduce the whole village to ash and start anew.

The remaining two men are picked up on the way out. Ser Markus Dayne grits his teeth as he rides, his wound obviously painful. The two noted Faith knights ride beside Ser Ghaston. after another hour or two, they arrive back at the camps, to find them in turmoil in the aftermath of the bloody, surreal night.
