"Thank you," she replied, raising her glass even though he had ran out. For not belaboring the point.
"So, about seeing the world?" Joanna asked with a small smile. "I am afraid I have only been to the Goldlands, and now here. Which I understand is a no man's land." From her expression it was obvious that she much preferred her homeland to here.

"Oh, I'm sure it's somebody's, whatever it is they might say. And, sense everyone is here already, maybe we should all just fight it out and determine an owner," he shrugged. "It might save us all marching back one day. Now the sea, the sea belongs to no man. She's a beautiful bitch and a traitorous cunt. You can spend a life time thinking you're her master only to be drown in a storm, or have your bones smashed to pudding against the rocks. That's where my heart lies. Did you leave yours in Lannisport?"

Joanna's smile widened at the question. She still had some existential questions about the matter. "I did not. I generally carry it with me. They say it makes surviving easier," she said slyly, and shrugged. "You have acquired certain eloquence since we met at the door. Perhaps you should keep them coming." She motioned at his cup.

"Well it's much easier to be cordial now that you've ceased making perverse demands of me," he said flatly. "I fear I've spent too much time in rough company, you'll have to forgive my foolishness."

Joanna was about to punch the man's arm, but could restrain herself at the last moment. She drained her cup. "I made no such demands, you just managed to interpret everything falsely. I will try to forgive you, but it is not going to be easy," she said, a smug look on her face.

"Things that are worthwhile generally do require a bit of effort," he said, feeling rather smug himself. Smug or drunk, he couldn't quite tell, nor did he care. "I like your hair that way," he smiled, "all these other girls seem to care so much about how they look, but you seem different."

"Are you implying I do not care about my looks?" Joanna asked, followed by a light laugh. True, her hairdo had only taken about fifteen minutes, pins and all, but only because picking out a dress took her ages this time.
"If it's true, then only because you can't look much better than this anyway," she said with a grin and looked over her shoulder to locate some servant for a refill, exposing her neck as she did so.

Truth be told, Titus thought she looked ravishing. He'd learned through experience that subtly insulting whores was a good way to bargain a lower price. Obviously, things here were quite different. "Well," he said slowly, "I suppose I should head back to my camp. If I can hardly behave myself properly I can only imagine what trouble my boys have found," he smiled. "Perhaps I will see you in Lannisport one day," he rose, gave and gave a slight bow, which was suppose to be graceful, but stumbling didn't help. He attempted to turn it into a sexy jig.

"Perhaps," Joanna agreed, offering him a small smile. She couldn't think of a single reason why she would see him in Lannisport, though. Noticing his stumbling, her smile turned into a smirk. "Take care, ser. Don't let the door smack you on your way out."

Sadly, it did.
