"Thank you, Ser Titus; if it ever comes to it I will come to you," Benjen said, nodding at the man thankfully. "Anyhow, I did not come here to dwell upon sad events. Who was that girl you were speaking with?" He grins.

"Well," he said, grabbing two mugs from a passing serving girl and handing one to the Prince, "that, it happens, is Joanna Lannister. So much for dwelling, eh? She's quite an odd one, if you ask me, asked me to have a drink of piss," he shook his head and laughed. "Sad thing is, I would have done it if I'd have thought it would get her out of that dress," he smirked. "I beg your pardon, Prince Benjen, I forget my tongue sometimes. Too much time spent with the riff-raff on deck, even my Uncle warned me as much."

Benjen laughed. "No, I can handle rough talk, Ser Titus; no doubt the girl is quite pretty under that dress." He drank deep from the ale. "Any other girls on the horizon?"

"Spoke with an Arryn and a Tully a bit ago," he scanned the room in search, "both quite nice looking, though I fear I left a poor impression. Damned women, who knows what they're thinking? The Tully girl," he smiled and nodded his head as his hands made a blatantly obvious gesture at his chest. "You would have liked her."

"Serena?" Benjen asked, chuckling. "I am a good friend of hers; at one point it might have even looked like I would marry her. But now, Catherine Mallister is my betrothed and... well, I do not wish to brag, but I think I will be the envy of every man in the realm." He laughed.

"More like than not," he agreed, though in truth he'd never met, nor as far as he recalled, had heard of Catherine Mallister. "We hear much different tales at sea," he explained. "More like, there are two whores on Sweetsister with most of their teeth," he chuckled. "I need some time on land, as much as I hate to say it. I hope to meet your betrothed at some point, she sounds very lovely." He felt a twinge of pain and a hint of guilt with the words.

"Well, come to our wedding then," Benjen offered, setting his mug down. "We'll be marrying back home at Eddard's Rest, as soon as we come back. If anything it'll be an excuse to stay on land for a little longer."

Joanna had been listening to their conversation intently ever since Meghan got her mention. She rolled her eyes when the Grafton goon mentioned piss again. After sipping some of her summerwine, she stood and walked right over.
"Is this seat taken?" she asked, looking at the empty chair. Since this was not the case, she sat. It seemed that her default expression was a haughty one. Her cold eyes darted to Ser Titus. "That earlier was all you, not me," she said with a shrug before looking at the prince. "Prince Stark. I do not believe we have met. Which I suppose I cannot say about my sister?"

Benjen's expression turned cold as he regarded the newcomer. "No, I do not believe we have met." He gave a slight nod before drinking from his ale.

"Yet you already know who I am," Joanna said, tilting her head sideways, her eyes on the prince's. His disposition didn't really shake her. "Why would you say her death was your fault?" she asked.

"Relations between the North and Goldlands are already bad enough, Lady Lannister," Benjen replied. "I am not here to sour them more." He sets the tankard down. "Good day." With that he leaves.

Joanna sipped her wine while looking after the prince. "Suppose I'm not invited to his wedding," she said, flashing a smile at Titus.

"Not by the look of it," Titus said, shooting a glance over his shoulder at the departing prince. "She was, what? Your cousin? Terrible thing, but I'm sure the Prince blames himself unnecessarily," he shrugged and drank. "I don't know the story, though."

"My cousin," Joanna repeated and nodded slowly. "Something like that, and even I don't know the whole story," she said, obviously offended that she didn't. "I didn't even know the prince was involved somehow."
She looked down at his mug. "I see you've found your appetite again."

Titus laughed, "I suppose so," he said, looking to the bottom of his empty mug. "Not so bad upon a second try, eh?" the alcohol was settling nicely in his veins now, making him much more at ease. "I won't belabor the point, but you have my condolences, Lady Joanna."
