"Alright. I'm game for that," Reyna said. "What sort of establishment is it? Ought I to wear something more practical?"
She indicated her silk gown which was hardly ideal for going to a tavern.

"Hm." She taps a finger gently on the table. "Still, men beating noblewomen in the presence of so many...I felt scared, myself. What manner of man...?" Her chest moves a bit faster as she speaks. "Ser Clarence Blackwall," Benjen said, shaking his head. "One of the lower types of lifeforms to come out of the Iron Islands. And knighted... a perfect example that knighthood doesn't mean a thing." His frowned softened. "I do not mean to offend."

The Kingsguard on duty, Ser Robar Hightower, a powerfully built man in his early forties, recognizes the giant knight with no difficulty. "What do you need, ser?"

Meghan shivers. "I've heard stories of him. Sometimes...knights are not what they should be." she gets a sudden uncertain look. "I think I'm failing in my job to be entertaining..."

"I would not say so; after all, I have not turned tail out of boredom," Benjen says to the woman. "So, back to your ability at singing," He added with a lighthearted laugh.

Meghan looks oddly shy despite having been told her singing was majestic by at least a thousand people. "The prince wishes a song?" She glances every which way before her voice rises into the most splendid version of the King and his Tower Benjen has ever heard.

Benjen took in the performance with wide eyes and a bright smile. When she was done he applauded loudly, awe struck. "Lady Meghan... I... well, I've never heard anything like it!"

She smiles and nods. "Thank you, Prince Benjen. It is nice to sing for an audience." She seems a bit awkward now; her cheeks a bit flushed, she looks like an animated and colored statue of the Maiden.

"Thank you, Meghan," Benjen simply said in reply. "Now... now I feel out of sorts, surely I must find something to repay the favour with!"

She looks shyly at him, her hands folded uncomfortably on her lap. It's clear this isn't an every day experience for her.

"Well... ah... I shall think of something!" Benjen said, feeling slightly awkward now. "In the meantime I will go speak with the Kingslanders and... well, then the Iron Born. Good day to you, Lady Meghan!" He bowed again and left.
