"Yes. My name is Reyna."
She paused to smile at the Lannister woman.
"You paint very well. Do you only paint trees and flowers?"

Dawn looks at her like she turned into a huge spider. "Why, no! An artist must paint whatever they feel in the moment! Today...yes, trees and shadows and flowers."

"Ah, I see. So do you paint people, then?" Reyna asked.

"Seldom. People are shifty, manipulative things; it is difficult to capture that on a canvas. Only some are worthy." She continues painting as she talks, apparently suffering no hindrance in doing so.

"Oh. That's true. I would love to see more of your work, if you are willing to share it?"

Dawn points to the door to Reyna's right. "They're all in there. The ones I was working on during the trip here, anyway." She heads into the room.

Reyna followed Dawn and looked for the paintings. She was curious to see what kind of work Dawn did.

Inside the room, she notices most of the works are extremely well-crafted, vibrant, but almost universally sad. Blues and greens dominate grey landscapes, though none of it approaches melodrama.

She felt a twinge of melancholy but kept up a smile as she turned to Dawn.
"Your work is beautiful. I wish I could paint. I have no talent for it, sadly. I'm better at music. Do you play at all?"

"Nono; my cousin Meghan is the musician of the family, or Kelsey." She stares at her works for a moment longer. "What brings you here, anyway? I do not believe we have ever formally met before now."

"That's why I''m here. I've met the princesses Kelsey and Jessica, but I felt that it was time I remedied our lack of acquaintance," Reyna said. "I hoped to offer my friendship, if you will accept it."

"Oh, well, I see no harm in having friends." Dawn says. "It is nice to finally meet you."

Reyna smiled warmly at Dawn.
"I feel the same. It's hard, sometimes, when there's nobody from home here, except my servants and guards. I do my best to fit in, but no matter how hard I try, my name is a giveaway," she said with a shrug.

"Harlaw...yes, I suppose that is probably a difficult name to escape. I have had enough of painting for now. Do you drink?"

"Yes, though never enough to get myself drunk," Reyna said. "That would be a bad idea for a lady, especially one with my name. It wouldn't matter in the Islands, but it looks very bad in other places."
