Abi shook her head. "I don't think we should split up. There's already too few of us that can fight." She stared in the direction of the other ship. "I still think we should find out more about those people."

Rowan shrugs nonchalantly 'yeh wanna go wiggle yah charms or yeh want us to nab one and whisper sweetly to them?' From the way Rowan's carefully testing his axes edge after being separated from it, its likely not to be so sweet for the crewman. 'Or weh could sneak up remove the sentries. Dispose of the crew and make off with teh boat?'

Abi frowned, looking down for a moment before swallowing. "I... I will go speak with them. I mean... if they speak common. I don't know how to use a weapon so I am not much use to the group anyway." She sounded like she was forcing herself to be more confident than she was.

Ephrym frowned. "Go alone and you show them all there are survivors. We all go or none do." The others seem to agree.

Abigail looked at the man and bit her lip. "We should vote then, of whether we go or not."

"We should stick together," Leona said with absolute conviction. "If any of you want to go off on your own, you do so at your own risk. I'm not going off alone."

"Well yes, that's what we're saying," Abigail responded. "But the question is if we go speak to the men on the boat. I vote for it."

Rowan just waits to see what decided. Not much bothered either way just so long as they get off this island and back someplace where they have a chance of getting home to go crack a few bandits skulls to settle an account.

Most people are nervous of the boat, but the twins and Lara can't come up with a better idea and so the motion passes. "Let's rest and go in the morning," Lara suggested. "I don't want to wander around here at night."

Abigail nodded and found a comfortable enough place to bed down for the night.

The night passes uneventfully, but monstrously loud roars of creatures that shouldn't have ever existed on the planet occasionally ring out, and it is restless sleep for those who lay down. The most dangerous creatures seem to be nocturnal, and when at last the first peek of sunlight comes over the tree line it is a welcome sight indeed. Mosquitoes have bitten everyone to the point of madness, and only saltwater helps take the itch away. Ephrym frowns and swats another insect. "Will need medicine soon. Much death comes from mosquito."

Leona frowned. "Should we search the wreckage again for medicine?" She looked around at everyone. "Or, perhaps we can find some other way."
She had studied with her maester a little back on the Arbor and now racked her brains for natural remedies for mosquito bites.

Abigail had found very little sleep and come morning she felt even more tired than the night before. She looked at her reflection in a goblet that had washed up and frowned at what she saw. Dirty, mussed up hair, weary eyes and blotched, scratched and bruised skin. They had to escape.

+2 Medicine
Leona remembers some sort of histamines can do the trick, the most famous of them being willow extract and the like. It is probable the ships had stored some, as the painkiller works wonders. For fighting a potential fever, water is about all that will help in this alien land.
