Abigail breathed a sigh of relief when the snake was removed from her and she quickly takes a step in the opposite direction of where it was thrown.
"Thanks," she said to Rowan before looking down to the beach. She paled when the slaughter began and forced herself to look away, not wanting to see the violence. When Daven grunted and walked off she hesitated for a moment before following him. "Wait up!"

The pirate looks back and gestures her on. "Where are you going?" Lara demanded. "The ships are still out there! We wait a night until they leave and get their attention!"

"They'll be coming through this area," Abigail responded, pointing to where they had stood. "If we move away a bit and hide then we can come back and signal the ships..." She sounded unsure though and looked up at Daven.

"If we move at all it could give us away if they have more scouts," the twin Emma said. "Then we're gonna be slaves again!" Her sister Hanna agreed.
Ephrym frowned as the sailors are herded into the forests. "If ships do not come only north offers help. Must go north." Lara shook her head.
"I think we should should stay put," she looked to Rowan and Leona for support.

Abigail frowned and thought on that. "The problem with hailing the ships is that they-" she pointed at the spearmen, "-will see the signal too. You saw the quick work they made of that crew." She bit her lip and continued to follow the pirate.

Daven and Abigail begin heading south while Lara and the twins seem more comfortable staying put. Ephrym has set his heart on going north eventually.

Leona elected to stay with the main group, believing there was safety in numbers. If it comes down to another split in the group, she will go with Ephrym, believing him her best chance of survival.

Rowan nods to Abigail. 'Welcome.' They listen to the bickering then snorting softly head after the giant and Abigail. They do not want to see what happens should either group gets their mitts on their unusual body.

As the trio vanishes into the south, Leona, Ephrym, Lara, and the twins remain...
Splitting of the threads occurs now.
