Leona giggled nervously and shook her head. "She wanted me to be. And she still meant to give me to whoever paid for me. I'm Leona Redwyne, of the Arbor. Get me home safe and my brother will reward you handsomely."

Rowan rolls their eyes at the vapid female and goes about trying to make their shelter more weatherproof or just more comfortable whichever is more practical. If they have time after this they would try to find edibles and gather what they can to make some kind of fire unless everything is just too soaked to bother. If possible they would try to organise the survivors in tasks to make all of them better off.

The giant studies Leona silently as she talks. "Redwyne," he grumbled, "they're getting ambitious." Rowan and the twins and the pirate find some shelter and reinforce it fairly well as the first drops of rain begin falling. Out to see Leona and Rowan both see the shapes of far distant vessels sailing away.

Turning away from the ships, Leona began looking around for sources of food.

Leona sees pineapples, which her brother. Had stocked at the Arbor, bigger than even the giant's head hanging from trees, coconuts, and, if she is particularly adventurous there is always the ocean, teeming with fish. She sees some crates washing ashore farther down the beach if she wishes to venture to see if any stores made it through the storm. The rain begins falling harder, and the pirate walks to Rowan. "Help me with this," he said, chopping at a tree, "we get this branch down we can make a better shelter'n we already got."
OOC:

Rowan helps the giant as needed. Chopping eagerly and helping move logs. Perhaps seeming a fair strength for their build. Their shirt and trousers sticking to them from the rain and effort as they reinforce the crude shelter.
Rowan looks about as they work 'Ah hopes teh weather forces a lot of junk ashore beh all the better for us continuing till weh can work a way home or someplace from this bet oh land..'

The shelter comes up and the cast aways take cover beneath it. As the rain intensifies, a piercing roar cuts through the air once again, this one close than it had been. To the south along the coast Rowan and Leona see a giant shape enter the water about a mile away, a massive sinuous figure, dozens of feet or more long. It enters the sea like a great serpent and then vanishes beneath the churning waves.

Rowan blinks a couple of times 'what the fuck was that?!?'

No one seems to know as the beast vanishes, but the twins stare at the group. "We're...we're on Sothoryos!" The black haired one said. "My father said they had dragon sized snakes there!"

Rowan frowns, the concept on being 'on' not 'in' an alien one. They mutter something about how the land should have stayed together and how its unnatural for it to be seperate. 'An eh was hoping tah walk home..' they finally voice.

Abigail had been silent all this time, following along quietly and in shock. Finally she spoke up. "A... a dragon..." She watched the darkness in awe, a frown creasing her forehead. "Why... why did they take us to Sothoryos? Who are they and what did they want with us??"

No one can properly answer Abigail, but the pirate finally speaks up. "This was my first voyage with these people," he said, "I thought we was headed to Yunkai , way north of here. Maybe we blew off course?" The rain starts falling harder. "Or maybe they was just lying the whole time." The group see a few people north, seeking shelter. They're heavily armed. The pirate waves. "Hide!" He harshly whispered. "My old friends ain't like to be happy with everyone else dead."

Rowan grabs the women closest by the wrists and hurries them to the shelter. If any make undue noise that may draw attention he puts a hand over their mouths and shushes them. 'Shad weh goes..' Rowen says quietly while they mime slitting a throat. While looking in the direction of the pirates.

The Pirates all seem to be arguing as they try to find shelter, and as they duck under a rowboat the group hears fighting and then some stabbing and screams. Two pirates seem much more vicious than the other three and they make short work of them. Their words can't be heard but the grim giant is quiet as they watch the slaughter. The sailor frowned. "Jensen and Jace," he said, "the worst of the crew. Those two' expectations killed hundreds of people, I bet."

Leona frowned. "So they're stuck here with us? We need to get away from them," she whispered. "But how?"
